Carlton Banks Watches Orlando Destroy Toronto, Celebrates With The Carlton Dance
Last night the Orlando Magic beat on the Toronto Raptors 112-72. What inspired them to do such a thing? How about Alfonso Ribeiro doing the Carlton dance in the third quarter with Terry Crews and Anthony Anderson? Up until that point the Magic were only up 14 points. The Magic would go on to outscore the Raptors by 37 in the second half.
Notice how the one TSN announcer has no idea who those people are or what they’re doing? How delightfully Canadian. Doesn’t he know that Alfonso Ribeiro is experiencing a return to the spotlight? He’s recently started showing up in street art in Louisiana. (Watch Exit Through The Gift Shop!) This is like Tarantino rediscovering Travolta.
Dwight Howard also did some notable stuff with 31 points and 19 rebounds. It was one of the two 40-point beat-downs in the NBA last night as the Hornets embarrassed the Hawks 100-59. It doesn’t appear that Bronson Pinchot or Mark Linn-Baker were there inspire anyone though.

That was good, but he needs more overbite.
Good on Riberio for having a sense of humor about a character he played a billion years ago, btw.

The Fresh Prince stands the test of time. Everytime I watch an episode I enjoy the fuck out of it.
Even that old white dude in LA whose mailbox was vandaled recognized Carlton.

How delightfully Canadian that the commentator doesn’t know the dance? Both of the commentators are American, you douche.
January 22nd, 2011 at 8:34 PM
Both of the announcers are American, nimrod.
Jack Armstrong was born in Brooklyn, NY.
Matt Devlin was born in Syracuse, NY.
Get your facts straight before you throw around that elitist American garbage.

…really, I was just going to say that…you’d think the thick Brooklyn accent would be a clue that the announcer was American, if not the fact that he and the other guy are f*cking dimwits…
