I think this league was originally financed by the Body By Jake guy. Doesn’t exactly lend credibility to it. Although he’s better than Tony “I pull my mullet ponytail through the back of my hat like a girl” Little.

There are some cities it does decently in. Toronto used to draw between 16000-18000 per game but now draw about 12000 or so on average. Considering the players are paid peanuts, it’s got to be a pretty profitable venture for some teams.

I check out two or three games per year and it’s usually great entertainment.
