My question is if Ohio State is the No. 1 overall seed (I have some doubts but we’ll see), will they go to Newark or will Pitt/SU go there as a lesser seed based on East coast following? Does Duke go there no matter what if they’re a one-seed?

I still want to know what the NCAA was thinking with the regional sites. San Antonion AND New Orleans? They’re only 550 miles from each other. They left the whole middle of the country wide open. I guess they didn’t want to go back to Indy or whatever, but it’s ridiculous they put two regionals right next to each other. OSU is going to get the screw job and have to go to San Antonio and play Texas in the sweet 16. You can see this from a mile away.

You’re right about the Big East, but wrong in how you concluded it. If you’re using OOC wins as a measure, then it’d be the Big 12. They had the best OOC winning %. So, now you see that you can’t measure much with OOC because the Big 12 isn’t actually the best.

If that’s the case you can make an argument that Pitt would deserve a one seed in the East which is in Newark and put Duke as the 1 seed in New Orleans.

And the argument would be correct. Although Pitt needs to shore up its defense a little bit, I still think they’re the best team in nation, loss or no loss.

Of course, I suspect Duke would get put in New Orleans anyways, even though Newark would definitely be preferable.

Texas, A&M are all good

That’s a team NO ONE is talking about. Their defense is really good and their offense is good enough to get them going. I don’t think they shoot it well enough to go to a Final four, but they are a top 4 seed in the tournament at worst.

One note about Purdue. Someone call me when they beat someone. Anyone. If they go on the road and beat Minnesota I’ll start believing. They were handed a ridiculously easy start to the Big 10 schedule. Let’s see where they’re at after this stretch in January/February.

Minny is weird. They’ve got as much size as anyone in the country and Al Nolen is a senior guard that can get to the bucket and break down defenses. Plus, they have a lights out shooter in Hoffarber. They’ll be a good tournament team, although it doesn’t help that Devoe Joseph

I don’t know about that. I think your Jayhawks are the best team in the country personally. Kansas State being bad really hurts the conference, but I think Missouri, Texas, A&M are all good, Baylor has a really high ceiling, and Colorado has shown it can beat anybody.
