Word in the bay area is Harbaugh is a handshake done deal. So not official… but agreed upon. First they need to announce their new GM, Trent Baalke, so he in turn can announced the hiring of Harbaugh.

How can people say Rich Rod has no SUPPORT? numerous players, Coaches, Alum, Boosters are very supportive of RR! Mike Martin already said He will try to get the entire team to go to Brandon to get him to agree to allow RR to stay. I dont think Brandon has a PLAN either, he had it all on JH, and I also think he messed up like Michigan did last time. Michigan fans, and administration still feel that football revolves around Michigan. Sorry, Michigan is not the program it once was, and has a very long ways to go to achieve that level.

Not doubting this, but what evidence do we have that Brandon is brilliant AD? He has been on the job for eight months. Hasn’t made one significant hire.

His track record reviving a moribund Domino’s Pizza is probably my best point of reference. The dude obviously can set direction and make good hires based on that performance alone. Also, having played for Bo, I have to believe he understands the expectations for the football program.

Whoever starts at Michigan next year has Western Mich (H), ND (H), Eastern Mich (H), San Diego State (H), Minnesota (H) to start the season. Guessing they can get to 7-6.

I’m hearing the Rose Bowl ratings were down 15% this year.

Being on ESPN rather than ABC as it has in years past might be part of that. As for the rest…dumb bastards. TCU is fun to watch.

Brandon’s too savvy to put all his eggs in one basket. Either he has Harbaugh lined up or damn close, and you know he has option 2 in the bag also. Brandon has said nothing to anyone yet, and here everyone knows what will transpire.

Hoke, I guess, but they can’t keep Rod. Anyone would be better than Rod at this point. New coach would at least have a year free pass and can blame anything on Rod and everyone will buy it.
