Brett Favre Will Be Slapped With A Fine: “NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is expected to fine, but not suspend, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre for his propositioning of former Jets employee Jenn Sterger, FOX Sports reported today. The official announcement is expected sometime this week.” According to Jason La Canfora, the fine will not exceed $50,000. And According to La Canfora’s sworn enemy, Jay Glazer, the fine will be handed down by tomorrow at latest. I would agree with you if Favre was having a 2009 season and this came out. But Vikings have been out of it for over a month now. I get the feeling that something else came out of this investigation that we don’t know and this is the reason for the fine.
