Wrestler Jeff Hardy to Plead Guilty on Drug Charges
TNA Champ Jeff Hardy to Plead Guilty: According to the Charlotte Observer, pro wrestler Jeff Hardy will plead guilty to the plethora of drug charges he faces stemming from his arrest in September of 2009, when police found 262 pills of Vicodin, 180 Soma prescription pills, 55 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a “residual amount of powder cocaine” and of course, drug paraphernalia. His court hearing is scheduled for January 20 and unfortunately for all of us, his New Year’s Eve party has been canceled. [Charlotte Observer; photo via Getty]

Hard to believe he’s only 33. He’s been around forever.

Garrett Wittels may be fucked.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:19 PM
Considering his style of wrestling, I’m surprised they didn’t find more drugs.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:19 PM
so how long does he spend in jail?
December 27th, 2010 at 4:20 PM
Vince must be shitting himself that someone who worked for him is pleading guilty to having steroids.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:21 PM
Depends on how much of a wrestling fan the judge is.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:22 PM
a vicodin/soma party would blow. narcotic naps for everyone!!!

Since I can’t imagine this is going to get a ton of on-topic comments, can I pose a quick college football question – what do the playoff proponents have against bowl games? And if you had a playoff, would you completely get rid of bowl games?
And I already know these games are just exhibitions so you can’t answer with these games don’t mean anything on a national championship level. Thanks.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:22 PM
What? Vince doesn’t give a shit
December 27th, 2010 at 4:23 PM
At least a few minutes.
U missed the cocaine part. Wake up, Brutus!
December 27th, 2010 at 4:24 PM
i noticed it enough to realize the blow was already gone. gotta leave a key bump or two so you don’t pass out after the vico’s, lawya.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:25 PM
no it depends on how much of hardy fan the judge is..and if the judge isnt a 12 year old girl then hardy is fucked. good riddance..he is incredibly overrated as a wrestler and terrible on the mic
December 27th, 2010 at 4:25 PM
how would dana white feel about this post already having more comments?
fake >> real
December 27th, 2010 at 4:26 PM
Eh, I think he can distance himself from this since they let him go and all. Plus, their testing policy is “legit” now.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:26 PM
/drops mic
/storms off

I can’t wait to see the WWE’s statement on this, which will include the exact time and date that Jeff Hardy left the company. “You can’t blame us for this one!! Get fucked, mainstream media!”
December 27th, 2010 at 4:28 PM
Vince survived the first steroid scandal and Chris Benoit murdering his family because wrestling turned him into a 40 year old Alzheimer’s patient, I think he’ll be fine.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:28 PM
Last part is extremely true. If he was truly that good as a wrestler and could get over that well, Vince would have found a way to keep him seeing that he is in his early 30′s.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:28 PM
You sir, are no Lance Ito.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:30 PM
Vince offered him a fantastic deal to stay. Hardy chose to go to TNA because the schedule was a lot lighter which left him a lot more time to do drugs. Once he left for TNA and their ratings didn’t spike at all, Vince ceased giving a fuck about him.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:30 PM
I continue to maintain that towards the end of his WWE run, in his programs against HHH and Orton, he was at least a B-. As in, not a glorified stuntman.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:31 PM
if hardy called the WWE tomorrow they would pay for his rehab.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:32 PM
Spencer we should party sometime.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:34 PM
it doesnt hurt those programs were with with two of the biggest sta of the last 20 years. and cm punk carried him in their program
December 27th, 2010 at 4:35 PM
I recall that he was with the company when he was caught with them and released the next day

????? brock wants to do wrestlemania?
December 27th, 2010 at 4:37 PM
He looks like Jokim Noah with all of his Chromosomes.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:39 PM
Fake getting pounded in the face >>> Real getting pounded in the face?
December 27th, 2010 at 4:41 PM
I would pound Lillian Garcia
December 27th, 2010 at 4:41 PM
HHH has been a fat bloated has-been since his first quad injury in 2001.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:41 PM
2 millions bucks >>>> whatever the UFC is paying
December 27th, 2010 at 4:44 PM
this is true but i’d rather see him owrk and match and talk on the mic than hardy…unless it’s a ladder match
December 27th, 2010 at 4:46 PM
I’d be willing to bet Lesnar has made well over 2 mil for his time in the UFC. Multiple times that.
/speculation
December 27th, 2010 at 4:48 PM
That, too.
He’s still a million times more entertaining than Cena or the Nexus or any of these new jokers.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:51 PM
Nexus could have been an awesome angle… however the miz,cm punk, cody rhodes, ziggler, kofi and a few others are real good.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:58 PM
I have always found that it’s more entertaining watching a Jeff Hardy match to see if its the one where he finally kills himself rather than for the actual wrestling.
December 27th, 2010 at 4:58 PM
I guess I haven’t given it enough of chance since the Attitude Era with Stone Cold, The Rock, etc. I have little cousins who are obsessed with Cena and I think he’s pathetic as a main draw.
December 27th, 2010 at 5:00 PM
Nexus was f’d from the jump when they fired Daniel Bryan and Skip Sheffield got hurt. Losing the only good wrestler and the only monster hoss killed it. All that was left was the fantastic Wade Barrett and a bunch of nothings.
C.M. Punk, Miz, Cody, Ziggler, Kofi and Daniel Bryan all own.
December 27th, 2010 at 5:03 PM
well from what i have been hearing is that he has been wrestling drunk or fucked up and actually almost killing other wrestlers…
