Ohio State just announced that QB Terrelle Pryor and four teammates have been suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season as a result of “tattoogate.” The other players suspended are RB Dan Herron, OL Mike Adams, WR DeVier Posey, and DL Solomon Thomas. These being some of the most high-profile Buckeyes, one wonders – will they bother to stick around to play half a season, or just bolt to the NFL early?

Ohio State’s early 2011 schedule includes Akron, Toledo, Miami, Colorado and Michigan State. [UPDATE: ESPN's Joe Schad reports in exchange for tattoos, Pryor sold "sold his Big Ten ring, a sportsmanship award and gold pants award." Sounds like a guy who may not be sticking around Columbus. Here's the entire release.]
