Its a crying shame they still have that boring label Lefto.

I think that’s why people discount them now. They got swept by the Suns last year and could easily lose a first round series, with their style now.

A lot of times people will say you need to see a tremendous athlete in person to truly appreciate how imposing/fast/etc. a guy is, but thats the way I feel about the Spurs on offense. It’s surgical and their ball rotations are amazingly quick. Every guy seems capable of looking straight at the rim, pump faking and no-look passing to the open guy. If you sit close enough your head can spin along with the defense’s.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Spurs brand of basketball, and I’m a huge Duncan fan. But it’s a glitz and glamour league, and they’re pretty low on sizzle factor.

There are a lot of bad contracts in the NBA. The Wizards would only need be willing to take one back, i.e. Rashard Lewis.

Not saying people are breaking down the door to get Arenas, but Ted Leonsis has been outspoken about Arenas remaining with the team for the season. Like I said, it was just a thought.

The one-handed cross-over was a popular move by the early Euros. Kukoc had it all but perfected. It’s also my only move as a basketball player after seeing Bobby Hurley do it on a fast break years ago.

Thats the big surprise with their hot start. They are doing it with the big tree playing less minutes. Young and new guys (Hill, Blair, Neal) are stepping up. And Matt Bonner has been lights out from 3.
