Iowa Addresses Drugs in Football Program, Questions Remain.
Drug Problem: Iowa appeared to be in crisis mode after leading receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos was arrested for possession of marijuana and cocaine, leading rusher Adam Robinson was suspended for the bowl game and sophomore running back Jewel Hampton left the program. From Iowa’s press conference: Iowa has not caught any player evading drug tests but has “strong evidence” that could have happened (no point volunteering that had it not happened), Iowa does not mandate suspensions for a first positive drug test, and Iowa evaluates each situation individually (players being important to team’s success?) before meting out punishment. The press conference raised more questions than it answered.

Typical Iowa. The true SCum of the big ten.
What a joke of a press conference.

December 14th, 2010 at 3:50 PM
Iowa does not mandate suspensions for a first positive drug test, and Iowa evaluates each situation individually
Does the NCAA not punish these things?

questions like, Why is Iowa relevant? Why doesnt the train go faster?
December 14th, 2010 at 3:52 PM
wrong. if it was in the SEC it would have been covered up and you never would have heard of it happening. Iowa fucked this situation up way too much to be considered SEC caliber.

DJK had dilauted on him as well. That shit is some STRONG stuff. I had some in the hospital after surgery and loved it.

Good for them for just coming out and saying it…if only Bobby Bowden had been so candid

Suppose this illustrates the difference between being stupid and being caught while being stupid. Kirk’s face during the press conference was awful. He was also a tad high and mighty in some of his responses to questions.
Surprises you didn’t mention this line, duffy:
December 14th, 2010 at 4:03 PM
Mizzou has been given 34 confidence points in the Bowl Pick ‘Em thing…still give Iowa more of a shot to win than Washington against Nebraska

If we paid players they could afford better quality drugs
December 14th, 2010 at 4:07 PM
The weird thing is Iowa’s drug testing program is more stringent and has more testing dates than the B10 or NCAA allows.

just for oxycontin and meth, though, right?
December 14th, 2010 at 4:08 PM
this is the midwest…trhere isnt much to do except for drugs.
December 14th, 2010 at 4:10 PM
Can’t forget Xanax.
And of course by allows, I meant requires. They were overtesting but not outside of the rules.
December 14th, 2010 at 4:10 PM
If we paid players, they wouldn’t have to sell drugs!

December 14th, 2010 at 4:11 PM
The press conference raised more questions than it answered.
Clearly they brushed upon their Bob Hitch and Bill Clements routine beforehand.

Will this increase the chances of Scarlett flashing her boobies in a film? I hope so.
December 14th, 2010 at 4:16 PM
I see what happened here.
After the Hawkeyes suffered their first loss and were knocked out of BCS Championship Game contention, they were faced with the reality that the rest of their season was pointless. Rather than come to terms with this meaningless existence, they turned to drugs to fill the void that only a 16-team playoff could fill.
December 14th, 2010 at 4:16 PM
v4l,
from a lady’s perspective, is it best for me to send Scarlett a full frontal pic, or just the dick pic? i don’t want to screw up my chances before its even started.

My worry is that we won’t get to see them until she’s old and saggy. Like Nancy Sinatra.

I have an old Nancy Sinatra CD that features a very cool song “Some Velvet Morning” with Lee Hazelwood. I only know the song because Art Bell played at his bumper music on his overnight show. I used to listen to him a lot.
