Ballin’: Five Wins in a Row For the Knicks
Chicago 99, Oklahoma City 90: In his fourth game back from injury, Carlos Boozer scored a season-high 29 points – including 14-of-14 from the line – as the Bulls improved to 11-8. It won’t be fair to render a verdict on the Rose-Noah frontline until at least mid-January. The Rose vs. Westbrook matchup that looks terrific on paper never really happened, as both struggled offensively, turning the ball over early and often. Rose did hit a halfcourt shot, though.
New York 121, Minnesota 114: Amare scored 34 points – that’s five straight games over 30 – and the Knicks improved to a staggering 13-9. Shawne Williams is becoming an assassin off the bench – he scored 13 points, his third straight game in double figures, and he’s a Matt Bonner-like 10-of-12 from three in those contests. Kevin Love, who collected 33 rebounds in the previous game against the Knicks, went for 33-15 last night.
Miami 88, Milwaukee 78: That’s five in a row for the Heat. It’s almost like they’re padding their victory total against bottom feeders! (Like the Jets!) Maybe the Lakers will beat them by 40 on Christmas the way the Pats beat down the Jets last night. D Wade scored 25 points and took 14 boards. VCU rookie Larry Sanders started inside for Milwaukee for the fifth straight game and scored 10 points to go with this alley-oop dunk.
Orlando 74, Atlanta 80: Can the Magic chalk this one up to Jameer Nelson’s stomach virus? The Hawks, without Joe Johnson, got 19-13 from Josh Smith and 16-10 from Al Horford in winning their sixth in seven games.
Utah 94, Memphis 85: No word on how long Grizzlies rookie Greivis Vazquez will be out after Deron Williams broke his ankles last night.

Team Dime came up big for the Hawks. Josh Smith good game. Magic should have won, first time in 12 games they lost when giving up less than 90 pts
Amare is playing well. first player since Chewing to win two player of the week honors

i like how someone titles it “unbelievable buzzer beater.” it wasn’t a ridiculous shot. seen it before. the Rasheed Wallace stolen inbound and heave from under a second, that’s unbelievable.
/miss those days

Well I see Amare marked this one on his calender and really decided to bring his A+ defense at the rim.

The company he owns, Kinray, Inc., is a customer of ours. So I went out to Long Island for a tour of their facility. Guy has a million pictures around the place with pictures of him and every possible celebrity you can imagine. In the warehouse where they keep a lot of his products, he houses an Aston Martin DBS. Just keeps it there for whenever he decides “I feel like driving my Aston Martin that I randomly keep at my warehouse.” He has a a room that is just one big putting green… designed by Jack Nicklaus himself. There are pictures around said room of golfers participating at his charity events and putting in said room. Pretty much every secretary and administrative assistant there is an 8 or better. At the end of the tour, I had some time to kill. The guy who is in charge of purchasing grabs the keys for the Aston and takes me for a ride. Stewart Rawr… Pimp.

Then the Lakers would beat them by 42.

Went to Bulls game last night.
Rose adapting to be more of pg again with Boozer who was hitting every shot he threw up.
Still waiting for Deng to get traded, hopefully for Melo.
Don’t know whay Durant sat out most of third quarter.

Wow is that way too long.
“Taken out to the Woodhead” on it’s own is perfect.

I promise Jersey, you’re getting one day of me stylin’ and profilin’ and then I’ll go back to normal.
December 7th, 2010 at 10:29 AM
I really cant see that contract moving. Teams will look Iggy in philly way before they look at Deng.
December 7th, 2010 at 10:29 AM
If by broke his ankles you mean he stepped on his foot and tripped the guy than sure.
December 7th, 2010 at 10:29 AM
Fine. I’m going to have it shortened. Just chop off the back, Tim.
/i.e., unmoderate me.

Did you see any of the Bulls game last night, Butters? I was following a few people on Twitter but I had MNF most of the night with a marquee NHL matchup mixed in.
Curious how they looked against OKC. From what I saw on Twitter, they played a great 3 quarters, got a little sloppy in the 4th.

SC-
Good d, their big center hit a couple of shots early on and Duran was erratic (still scored 29) but he sat out most of third quarter.
They held OKC to atleast 3 shot clock violations.
Bulls were trying to get to 100 for free big macs for crowd, which is why it got sloppy at the end.
Durant is so smooth, and he just takes off in a couple of steps from about 20 feet out.
