Who Stole Lee Corso’s Head From the Gameday Set? [UPDATE: Found!]
Lee Corso’s Head: Police in Corvallis, Oregon are trying to find the thief who stole Lee Corso’s head from the Gameday set Saturday. (It’s the same head that was featured in this commercial.) Yes, this is actually a police matter. The head was reportedly lifted around 3:20 pm Saturday after Oregon defeated Oregon State, 37-20. ESPN’s Erin Andrews is taking the news hard. She put out an APB for the head last night, and then got kind of huffy on twitter about it. This photo, presumably of the thief wearing the head, surfaced on message board. Does this mean an Oregon fan stole it? Or did an OSU fan swipe the head, and then put on an Oregon sweatshirt to throw everyone off the scent? [UPDATE: Corso's head has been recovered by police, reports KGW-TV in Oregon.]

“Police in Corvallis, Oregon are trying to find the thief who stole Lee Corso’s head from the Gameday set”

It was Puddles.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
Cant imagine what Oregon fans did to it. Someone tell Corso he doesn’t want it back.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
If I were the thief/one of the thieves, I would only give it back if Lee Corso never shows his face again on ESPN. Certainly hard terms but necessary in the opinion of all who watch College Game Day.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
Is it me, or is Erin Andrews becoming more and more annoying less likeable by the day…
December 6th, 2010 at 10:08 AM
I cannot get behind this, sir. I’ll take Corso, post stroke, over a bunch of the other guys. The guy may not be able to communicate it as well, but he still knows his shit better than a bunch of guys there.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
There can’t be too many suspects. Only 46,000 attended the game.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
Me thinks you’re giving the thief WAY too much credit with this line.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
Does this mean an Oregon fan stole it? Or did an OSU fan swipe the head, and then put on an Oregon sweatshirt to throw everyone off the scent
You are overthinking this a bit much.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
Your opinion here is null and void since you like Lou Holtz
December 6th, 2010 at 10:12 AM
he looks to be white. of course he could have painted his hands white to throw everyone off
December 6th, 2010 at 10:12 AM
Marvin Miller and Steinbrenner don’t make the Hall? Well that’s some shit.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
the same Steinbrenner that was banned twice? convicted felon etc. joke if he gets in
December 6th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
What am I supposed to do? Hate him. And you’re one to talk, you like (looks for storied Wisconsin coach that won a national championship)… oh, oops.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
Haha. Okay.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
Nah.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
Ms. Andrews need more cock in her life if she has time to worry about this type of shit.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
Nicely done, Clown. You and I both pointed out the hilarity of Oregon State setting a record for attendance with over 46,000. Pac 10 football brings the thunder.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
Look for a guy that, for reasons unknown, wears a merkin.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
Rose should get in before Stein

Barry Alvarez worked as a color commentator the first year FOX had the BCS…I had no problems recognizing that he was awful, just like Dr. Lou
December 6th, 2010 at 10:20 AM
Honestly, she’s so hot in my mind that I don’t care what she says. When she’s on screen, her comments are white noise and she’s just so nice to look at.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:20 AM
I will not disrespect the man that is responsible for the last true days of ND glory. No way, no how.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:20 AM
she looks more reluctant than Tracy.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:21 AM
Nothing is more laughable than Lou Holtz preaching accountability as he left every school on probation. What a douche.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:22 AM
That’s awesome. Wolfson was practically begging for Cam to give her some of his “juice.”
December 6th, 2010 at 10:22 AM
You have to hear Lou Holtz speak outside an ESPN studio. He’s tremendous. You’d be surprised.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:22 AM
OK with Stein, I understand the whole venom towards him… but Marvin Miller? MARVIN MILLER? This guy made the MLBPA into one of the strongest unions in organized labor in the entire country.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:22 AM
How Lou Holtz doesn’t have raingear contract is beyond me.
/Miami was jobbed in ’88
//not arguable
December 6th, 2010 at 10:23 AM
Cabbage lives!
December 6th, 2010 at 10:23 AM
Have listened to him twice. He’s awesome.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:24 AM
its not venom SC, its facts
December 6th, 2010 at 10:24 AM
This.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
My wife saw him speak and loved him. Still doesn’t change the fact that he was dirty, left schools on probation and then hit the speaking circuit to preach integrity.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
He’s a real peach.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:26 AM
You’re just pissed because he never took you to Paisano’s.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:27 AM
Alavrez was horrid. Glad that did not last long.
This is correct, great motivational speaker.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:27 AM
I have no problem with what he did there.

December 6th, 2010 at 10:28 AM
You sure it’s not because he’s [DAH DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN] a member of the GOP?
December 6th, 2010 at 10:29 AM
Really? I understand he was in a time crunch, but he could have handled it differently. There was no reason to be a prick about it. I’m not saying that what he did needs to be used as evidence of him being a bad person, but he came off as a massive asshole when all he had to do was say, “look, this is taking too long and I really have to go. I’m sorry,” and then walk away.

holtz can talk for hours only using cliches. its pretty amazing
December 6th, 2010 at 10:30 AM
I could give a shit about that. I just laugh when I hear him hit his talking points about being responsible and accountable when he was always getting investigated by the NCAA.
December 6th, 2010 at 10:35 AM
I’ll second this. My company had him as a keynote speaker at a conference, and he is really good. In fact, I’m pretty sure they’re bringing him back again this year.
December 6th, 2010 at 11:30 AM
Erin Andrews needs to show us her tits.
Oh, wait. Never mind.
