Stevie Johnson needs a solid talking to from his mama. God doesnt fucking care who wins football games, douche.
November 29th, 2010 at 8:13 AM
Marisa Miller, good God. That dress is money.
November 29th, 2010 at 8:16 AM
Steelers are lucky as fuck to win that game. I kinda of feel bad for Stevie Johnson afterwards. Sounded like he was going to burst out in tears during the press conference.

There isnt a phrase I hate more than “if the playoffs started today..”. Greenberg was trying to pull that shit this morning about how the Jets are the 1 seed because they have the “tiebreaker” over the Pats well NEWSFLASH, divisional opponents play each other twice and each get a home game. It’s only the tiebreaker if you win both of those games. Great googly moogly.
November 29th, 2010 at 8:19 AM
Marisa Miller… TBL, you just made my day!
November 29th, 2010 at 8:19 AM
I think at this point, it’s Nielson’d

This is the last paragraph in the link/article about the teacher (Wendy) that banned pens and pencils from school. Did the editors miss that?

I feel bad for Johnson as well. Buffalo has a good player there, hopefully he gets over it in a few days.

I feel bad for him – seemed like he was always on the wrong end of a terrible call/unlucky play. The one most people remember is the dual-possession call that went against him at Michigan
November 29th, 2010 at 8:33 AM
I’d do her.

November 29th, 2010 at 9:05 AM
I had a rough weekend and this clip cheered me up a little. It’s very cute.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:06 AM
It seems that people are still not sold on the Bears for some reason. I think they are pretty fucking legit if Cutler cuts down on half of the INT’s.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:06 AM
I can’t live in a world where mrejr is a happy football fan
November 29th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
At the risk of sounding like a Peyton apologist, this is a very lazy, Joe Theismann-esque take on the game. 1, Peyton’s receivers were terrible, including Reggie Wayne who had one of the worst drops I’ve seen this year. 2, Ron Rivera OWNS Peyton. Give him some credit.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:08 AM
you cant say cono at a school. what the hell is wrong with that guy
November 29th, 2010 at 9:10 AM
Mantis- if Cutler doesn’t play like a ruhtard the Bears can be dangerous. That’s a big if.
Texans- I don’t want to live in a world where the Texans are playoff bound. Thankfully that day hasn’t shown up yet.

November 29th, 2010 at 9:11 AM
Who should Miami look at? Will they go with a proven coach, or a hot assistant? I’d look at Kirby Smart and Will Muschamp as well as Mike Leach and Dan Mullen.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:12 AM
can a brother get some props for his summer-time Bears pick?
/then, throw change and garbage at me for my Super Bowl Cowboys pick
November 29th, 2010 at 9:12 AM
Weird game. Bears defense played well, but the Eagles defense was inexplicably awful. Blown coverages and horrible tackling, reminded me of the Titans game — apparently this is a performance they are committed to once a month. It will be nice to have Asante back for Thursday.
And all that being said, Vick doesn’t throw that pick in the end zone and they might win that game.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:14 AM
This. big time this. Drafting Carr, hiring Dom Capers as HC, following it up with a gary kubiak hire, the clueless owner saying Kubiak is doing a good job = no playoffs ever.
My money would be on Mullen. I’m interested to see if they give Greg Shiano a call again. His star has really faded in the past few years.

Michiganites: Is Rich Rod getting canned or does he get one more year?
November 29th, 2010 at 9:15 AM
i don’t blame you for the pick, you got caught up in the hype of a team playing in their own stadium for the super bowl, despite showing signs of slightly above average talent and poor head coach in a very tough division.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:16 AM
JHS- Detroit Lions.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:17 AM
Great win, Ark. One of the few games I picked correctly this week. Thanks for choking like a bitch, Saban.
Mullen has completely won me over. Miss St has zero talent, but he managed to win 7-8 games with it.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:17 AM
I don’t know if inexplicably would be the word. Their defense has been masked because there offense was off the charts for a couple weeks.

November 29th, 2010 at 9:21 AM

no.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:22 AM
eagles were missing a few key parts. still, bears have the league’s top or near-top defense and special teams. if offense is competent, and it looks that way, in an nfc with no standouts, and for that matter, no standouts in afc, it’s not crazy to pick bears as SB winner

SB representive, maybe. Not winner as long as Pats and Steelers are around.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:24 AM

November 29th, 2010 at 9:34 AM
Anyone of the five playoff teams from the NFC that does not play in the NFC West has a shot to go to the Super Bowl. The team that makes the least amount of mistakes will probably do it.
I think we can grant front-runner status to ATL, but they aren’t a dominant team by any means.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:34 AM
The only thing that could make this monday night game exciting was if it were hosted in Mexico city and the losing quarterbacks head goes to the MS13.

November 29th, 2010 at 9:34 AM
I am getting that feeling from a lot of Mich fans. My only concern would be what if Harbaugh goes to the NFL? Who would they go after then?
November 29th, 2010 at 9:35 AM
Not sure who IU thinks they can get. Bad program + low pay isnt a recipe for landing a great coach.
Similar to Miami, bad pay + unrealistic expectations.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:35 AM

November 29th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
Well, the game that holds most interest to me is the B12 title game, so that is one that I will plan around. I haven’t thought about what I am doing though.
If he gets one more year, I wonder who he goes after for a DC. The new hire knows that one bad year means they are both out of a job, so hiring a good coach will be tough.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:38 AM
Similar to Miami, bad pay + unrealistic expectations
yeah Indiana U and the U are similar
November 29th, 2010 at 9:38 AM
Agreed. But every team competing for a wild card should be rooting like hell that St. Louis wins that division. As bad as the Seahags have been lately, going on the road to St. Louis in January would be a lot easier task then traveling up to the NW.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
Husker: This might sound dumb, but Brady Hoke.
He was on Carr’s staff for a while as a DL and associate coach. He made Ball State legit for a few years and turned around SDSU in a short time. Although, he might not be ready for the Michigan job. IU and Minnesota seem to be hot on him, as well.

November 29th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
Season ticket holder since the Vick fiasco. My brother is quite the Falcons fan. I’m a fan, but nothing like it is for CFB.
Unreal? There is so much talent in their backyard. Get a good coach who can recruit and Mia should win 9 games every year. Did anyone catch Mark May blasting Miami late Sat night? He said Shannon did everything he was asked to do. I had no clue they asked him to go 28-22 in 4 years.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
even if RR gets a good DC, will he force the 3-3-5 down his throat like he did to shafer and GERG?
November 29th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
Yes
No
November 29th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
It’s good to see a boy be a boy, looking up to some pretty cool guys. There are alot of people I know that have zoned-out, video game-playing, girlie cartoon-watching boys that never play outside. It kills me.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
I’ve seen some speculation that UM is only going to give Rod the boot if they are 100% sure to land a home run hire (ie Harbaugh).
The $$$ will convince someone to take a shot. I think the D is 112th in the NCAA. new DC does not have to do too much to be considered an improvement.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
I hope the Warriors Way bombs
November 29th, 2010 at 9:42 AM
Feels like a Riley planted story. Broussard can’t come up with that stuff on his own.
Regardless, the first 17 games have been damn amusing…
November 29th, 2010 at 9:42 AM
So I was able to get a tour of ESPN’s CFB studio in Times Square this past Saturday from a friend. Technically it was the Good Morning America studio, but it was being used for CFB. The banks of TVs with all the games were just mind boggling. Got some grainy cell phone pictures of Jesse Palmer and Robert Flores. It was definitely a good time!
November 29th, 2010 at 9:42 AM

And 16-16 in the shit-tastic ACC. Good/great guy, shit coach.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:43 AM
Oh, I agree. Any road playoff game is tough, but even if the NFCW winner pulls out an underdog playoff win at home, they will get rolled the next week when they travel to face whoever the #1 or #2. No way the NFCW team can win three straight.

me too. it looks like a serious version of wild wild west
November 29th, 2010 at 9:46 AM
This makes the most sense. Other than Harbaugh, who else is considered a “home run hire?”
November 29th, 2010 at 9:46 AM
Yea its pretty fucked up. Same thing is looking to happen in the AFC. I would not be surprised to see the Colts or Chargers win a home game against a team that has 3 or 4 more victories in the regular season. Then going on the road and getting pummeled by a top seed.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:46 AM
Yeah, but going from 112 to 70 won’t get RR a 5th year. They would have to pay a shitload of money.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:47 AM
@CJ, you joked me a while back for still buying CD’s when everyone else was downloading. I’m finally getting an MP# player–what is your recommendation? Should I just succumb to Mr. Jobs and get an IPod classic (heard the new Nano was not good) or something else.?
November 29th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
What’s funny is that Dan Mullen would be as there is talent on offense for him to run his system, but I bet Mich fans don’t want another spread coach, so they won’t even consider him. Kirby Smart should get some looks as well, but I doubt Michigan will hire a coach without HC experience.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:48 AM
I bet it was a softie.
GFY, best player in the game.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:49 AM
Go Noles!!!
November 29th, 2010 at 9:49 AM
if that happens in both conferences this season you should put money on it the league will revise playoff seeding based on record rather than division winners 1-4 regardless of WC records.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:49 AM
anyone else skeptical of harbaugh? i mean, the pac-10 has been extraordinarily shitty since he’s gotten there…easy to look good at a program like that. much harder once there’s actual expectations.
and i don’t think harbaugh would want the UM job anyways…he’s taken potshots at them and a lot of the blue bloods are still resentful that an ex-wolverine would say that shit.

Next Monday is going to suck. Jersey and CJ are going to be insufferable and I have to root from a bunch of Massholes.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:49 AM
Twitter is ablaze with news that TCU is joining the Big East.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:50 AM
RRods had lots of D-coordinators and they’ve all stunk. Maybe its not the coordinator but the fact that practicing against that faggy spread every day makes the defense soft.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:51 AM
Agree…but Jersey keeps it real at least so Im rockin the Jets next Monday
November 29th, 2010 at 9:51 AM
Had to shed that handle. Almost forgot the week was over. Well, I guess it’s not because Saturday didn’t exist as far as I’m concerned. Still trying to find a place that will overnight one of those MIB pen mind-eraser thingies.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:52 AM
No. Have you watched Stanford play? Imagine Harbaugh at a school where he doesn’t have to sell to get talent. He turned Luck into the best player in CFB in 3 years. I just think he’ll end up in the NFL pretty soon, though.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:52 AM
fwiw…i see very little difference between michigan and oregon.
only oregon is lucky enough to be in a conference where every team is just as pussified as they are. michigan has to face teams that actually play defense.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
We would accept Bo Schembechler’s corpse as HC if it would get us a win over faggy OSU.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
Where is Vincent Vega and that other dude who were trying to tell me how awful McNabb was last week? Holidays and all, but finally got around to the weekly reading. And yeah.
/didn’t see this week’s game
//Skins fans should focus their attention on problems that actually need fixing, like everyone in that offense not named Trent Williams, McNabb, or Cooley
November 29th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
Boise got fucked in re-alignment. First BYU and Utah leave, now TCU. The Mountain West had a shot to be a good conference with those 4 too
November 29th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
IT’S JETS WEEK BABY, biggest game of the year in the NFL thus far!
November 29th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
uh…michigan is now a school where he’ll have to sell talent. the academic requirements are just a stringent at michigan as they are at stanford.
and i haven’t really seen stanford against a non pac-10 team, so im going to reserve judgement.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:54 AM
So true. They can’t be happy about this…at all.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:54 AM
Jesus.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:54 AM
change your avatar right the fuck now.
no browns fan, no REAL browns fan, would ever be a disgraceful michigan fan. ever.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:54 AM
This.
Makes as much sense geographically as the old NFC West (Atlanta and N.0.) I’d rather watch TCU in a bowl game than UConn though.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
I agree. He’s still soft. So was Wayne.
I mean, not everyone can be a Murdersaurus. Seriously, best fight this year. I feared for Westgarth’s life. You can literally see the shockwave go through his face on the last punch.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
It’s not the spread as much as it’s the scheme. The 3-3-5 defense fucking blows. But, seriously, Greg Robinson has sucked pretty much wherever he’s been and at whatever he’s done.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
Bull shit. He would stockpile talent. Hell, Bill Callahan recruited very well at NEB and he was fucking terrible and so was NEB. Harbaugh would be money at Michigan, but we’ll see him at Carolina next year with Luck as his franchise QB.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
Fetch, I cried a few Rider green tears yesterday.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
I find it amusing that Jeremiah Masoli was unstoppable in the Pac10. Then OSU shut him down. Then the entire SEC shut him down.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
It appears TCU is going to the Big East
http://ncaafootball.fanhouse.com/2010/1 … -big-east/
November 29th, 2010 at 9:56 AM
I agree. He’s still soft. So was Wayne.
Are you high? Seriously, I want whatever you’re on.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:57 AM
lollersauce
November 29th, 2010 at 9:57 AM
makeup is clearly Molly Sims best friend.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:57 AM
yeah that was brutal. Granted I only watched two of their games this year, but they need a new QB. Guy has the best receiving corps in the league to throw to and he can’t move the ball.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:57 AM
nebraska doesn’t have NEARLY the academic requirements that michigan has.
and even then, michigan’s stature as “powerhouse” is nothing more than a house of cards.
bo never won a NC, they only have HALF an NC since WWII, shitty record in bowl games…
November 29th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
I could see Harbaugh at Carolina next year and drafting Luck.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
He was a spread QB in a non-spread offense at Ole Piss.
And Ohio State had like a month to plan for him.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:58 AM
I am eagerly anticipating Lisk ranking the Bears around the 11 spot. It is my superstition that he motivates them so I will now complain if he ranks them too high.
I may or may not be wearing this in my office today.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
That’s a bit unfair. Ole Miss has zero offensive talent around Masoli. That wasn’t the case at Oregon. I agree that the Oregon offense wouldn’t fair well in the SEC, but with Oregon’s talent I think Masoli would have been better against the SEC as anything is better than a Houston Nutt offense.
November 29th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
yeah that was brutal. Granted I only watched two of their games this year, but they need a new QB. Guy has the best receiving corps in the league to throw to and he can’t move the ball.
Darian Durant (his brother is a LB for the Jaguars), athletic guy but very poor decision maker. They’ll have someone else in there at QB next year.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
People make way too much out of academic requirements. If a school wants a player in a bad way, they’ll find ways to get him in.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
Highly, supremely talented. Charmin soft. Nothing wrong with that.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:01 AM
true, but to his credit, he did transfer to ole piss to play under a coach known as the “QB Killer”.
/still, the Pac-10 is faggy
November 29th, 2010 at 10:01 AM
It’s always great being the NFL darling of the week. Enjoy it. (not being sarcastic).
Forgot how much of a pain Devin Hester can be. He’s still got it.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
agreed, and harbaugh even said that, but the michigan alum and boosters won’t forget his comments about the subject.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
Highly, supremely talented. Charmin soft. Nothing wrong with that.
You really need to watch more games. Also, maybe take off the Hawk coloured glasses.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
Yeah, not even close.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
What world am I living in?
November 29th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
But they’ll love winning and you know Harbaugh will win at Mich. I don’t know if he’ll win titles, but he won’t be like Rich Rod. I would be against his hiring too if I were an OSU fan.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
They might conveniently forget them if it means they can get rid of the current “non” Michigan man.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
@CJ, you joked me a while back for still buying CD’s when everyone else was downloading. I’m finally getting an MP# player–what is your recommendation? Should I just succumb to Mr. Jobs and get an IPod classic (heard the new Nano was not good) or something else.?
I’ll butt into this conversation and say that you should get an Ipod touch. I have the 64 GB version (cause I have 5000+ songs) and love it. Movies look really crisp as well.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
Speaking of Lisk, boooo to him for not posting the power rankings until Thanksgiving day so that I missed my one and only shoutout inside a post. I see what you did there.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
that “month to plan” really didn’t have much to do with OSU stopping oregon. unless tressel’s brilliant “month plan” was “destroy oregon’s weak OL.”
it’s not hard to stop oregon…you just need the personnel to stop em. something no team in the pac-10 has, not even USC. but make no mistake…any SEC team worth their salt would have a field day with that pussy offense. i could only dream of what nick fairley or drake nevis would do…
November 29th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
im not against hiring harbaugh…hell, if anything im for it because it’d take him at least two years to get enough REAL talent in there to compete. im all for OSU stretching the streak to a decade.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
They have achieved legitimacy as far as I’m concerned this year. That’s farther than I thought they’d get. I’m not drinking the playoff noise maker Kool-Aid yet though.
Did have a little bit of a chubby watching the defense stifle and frustrate Vick though. Impressive effort.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
Thanks devang. I meant to add that anyone could chip in with their advice as well.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:07 AM
4-2 circus trip! We’re back in this! Keith and Seabrook have been reunited… and it feels so good! KOOL-AID FOR EVERYONE!
REPEAT! REPEAT! REPEAT!
/doing everything to block out 2010-11 Iowa football season
November 29th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
Robinson can run his system. He is a good enough passer. Plus I think he would adapt his system as his system allows that. Rich Rod’s doesn’t.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
@V4L. I know. I got mine from here as they throw in a couple of free items.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
4-2 circus trip! We’re back in this! Keith and Seabrook have been reunited… and it feels so good! KOOL-AID FOR EVERYONE!
I hope it’s grape flavoured kool-aid. Still looking up at 2 teams in the division, each with 5+ games in hand. Although, a date with the Wings will probably send the Jackets into a 10 game spiral.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
robinson is a good enough passer? we must be watching different robinson’s. the one i saw last saturday made all of one good throw the entire game before getting hurt.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
As a Nebraska fan I want Rich Rod to stay as well. NEB is going to have a rough couple of years in the B10. They built their entire team (on defense, anyway) to stop the spread passing games of the B12. Teams like OSU, Wisconsin and even Iowa will match up well with NEB because they can pound the rock. I think NEB will run Michigan out of the Big House next year if RR is still there as they are used to playing that type of offense.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
V4L, I’d go Apple, but what are your usage requirements? General comfort, working out, etc, I’d go 100% Nano. The Touch brings the form factor of a smart phone, definitely limiting it’s comfort level for alot of activities.
I thought I’d transition most of my podcast/music listening to my Galaxy S phone, which is similar in size to the Touch, but I’ve used it very little for that purpose. I’d rather have the comfort, and less risk of wrecking, a $150 device.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:12 AM
hard to be that lucky 2 years in a row. and don’t be shocked if the Iowa football season doesn’t make it to 2011, Michigan and PSU are likely to get the outback and gator bowl bids in front of Iowa.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:13 AM
Don’t be ridiculous. His WRs killed him when he was in there. He was putting the ball where it needed to be, and that’s with RR and his staff coaching him. Harbaugh can work with him and make him a much better passer.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:13 AM
Oh, come on. He missed Roundtree on that one pass. Straight up missed him. He had six passes dropped, five from Roundtree.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:14 AM
I was feeling stupid for a minute there for my early defenses of Cutler, but he looks good. I know that he’s a douche, but he’s still a top 10 QB when not forced to run for his life.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:14 AM
but i love being ridiculous.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:14 AM
We tried telling you, SC…but you wouldn’t listen.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:14 AM
A 23-year-old reportedly leaped to his death at Soldier Field Sunday during the Eagles-Bears game.
I hope he did the Rocky stance before leaping. Would be a shame to miss a “Drago!” chance.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
touche
November 29th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
Iowa lost to Minnesota, it’s time to stop calling them a legitimate football team.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
it’s funny, but now i think iowa’s way underrated.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:16 AM
Yeah. Not really caring about that bowl bid at this point. Glad they’ll go to one for the seniors but this season can be stamped with FAIL. Next year is a rebuilding season so it’s going to be a long 18 months for Hawkeye fans. Next season’s goals are to win the 3 rivalry games, not much outside that.
I’ll be following the coaching staff changes more than anything. It’s time to replace Norm Parker for health reasons and on the field performance. I love Norm and he’s been awesome for the team but the time has come.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:16 AM
That bowling story needs more of this
That’s how I would have celebrated a 900 series.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
Heat Players Frustrated By Spoelstra. Let the countdown begin.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
Nebraska will be lucky to average 6 wins in the Big Ten over the next 5 seasons. Book it.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
Mine… duh. Get ready to have that name changed.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
Kirk Ferentz is not the right man for this job, Pawwwwl.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
Ohio State loses a good bit on defense after this year. I know they have tons of talent, but replacing talent is always hard. They keep most of the offense, right spencer?
November 29th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
What are the suggested name changes?
November 29th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
So 6-2 each year in the Big 10? Wouldn’t Iowa parade in the streets for that?
November 29th, 2010 at 10:20 AM
Ugh. I don’t. Awfully talented team to finish 7-5 with losses to jNWU and the Gophers. Kirk goes 1-2 in rivalry games this season, has some of the best talent on defense in years only to be unable to hold in the 4th quarter and has a special teams unit that makes the Chargers’ look successful.
The defensive failures are the most disappointing. That entire DL’s draft stock has to have taken a hit. Clayborn simply did not live up to the hype after a great junior campaign. His stamina is a serious question mark for NFL scouts.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:21 AM
6-6, 7-5, 2-10, 3-9, 8-4.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:21 AM
CJ: I Give Jersey Amazing Woodhead.
Me: I don’t know yet, we’ll let the commentariat throw out some suggestions, and you pick one you like.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:22 AM
he will be a bust. No work ethic. dude loafs it out there half the time.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:23 AM
Sounds good
November 29th, 2010 at 10:23 AM
Ha! Wanna bet on that? You think NEB wins 26 games in 5 years huh?
November 29th, 2010 at 10:24 AM
Julius Peppers’d
November 29th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
All jokes aside, I really won’t be able to stand waiting for the next 7 days.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
The lose some line, but the skill positions, short of Brandon Saine, all return. Plus they could be returning Duron Carter who left for JuCo land due to academic reasons. He’s about 6’5″ now…
November 29th, 2010 at 10:27 AM
I think that’s a stretch. 20 would probably be more realistic.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:27 AM
I’m finally getting an MP# player–what is your recommendation?
Go iPod. As for the type, it’s down to what’s most important to you: storage space (iPod Classic), screen size (iPod Touch) or portability (iPod Nano).
I have a 16 gig Nano that’s loaded to the hilt with music while my iPhone has movies, tv shows and music. I want a classic so that I can take a bunch of stuff out of my Nano and leave it as just podcasts/workout music.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:28 AM
Me neither.. and I hope saying so isn’t ‘insufferable’
November 29th, 2010 at 10:34 AM
Me neither.. and I hope saying so isn’t ‘insufferable’
goddammit CJ, put a lid on this homerific nonsense.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:36 AM
I didn’t think it was possible for me to love Marissa Miller any more, but after hearing her say she loves boxing… (swoon)
November 29th, 2010 at 10:37 AM
most of the offense will be there…lose both guards tho, who were probably OSU’s best linemen.
as for the defense? im not worried about replacing the guys that will be lost, even tho they’re great. tressel redshirted 5-stars at LB and there’s a bunch of young defensive line talent there. it’ll be business as usual for the OSU D…bunch of guys who’ve been in the program for awhile, have contributed and know the system.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:44 AM
They lose Browning, Boren, and biggest of all, Sanzenbacher. That kid is always open and never drops a ball. But, having 8 starters back and plugging in some of the other talent won’t see a huge drop off. It will be inconsistent no matter what, though.
I’m a little worried about Fickell getting a HC job somewhere and what that will do to the defense. They have a ton of talent to plug in. They’ve got 3 guys in the secondary that got hurt this year who will all likely start next year.
November 29th, 2010 at 10:45 AM
ive seen his name mentioned on mgoblog as a potential rich rod replacement.
shit. im praying that doesn’t happen and fickell stays on to be tressel’s replacement down the line.
November 29th, 2010 at 12:06 PM
TBL, we get it, you have Palin Derangement Syndrome. Who cares about her. But let’s be fair, Obama saying their are 57 states is a tad worse.
