Urban Meyer “Vowed to Share” Cam Newton Allegations With Media
Meyer Was Involved: Urban Meyer had a three-way telephone conversation with Dan Mullen and John Bond after Newton chose Auburn. Â ”But according to a source, Mullen, Meyer and Bond discussed the allegation involving Newton in a phone call several months ago. The source said Mullen and Bond believed Mississippi State had done the right thing in turning in the information to the SEC. As far as they were concerned there was nothing more for them to do. The source said Meyer expressed anger at illegal recruiting and vowed to share the Newton allegations with several news organizations.” [al.com]

Is Newton playing or is Auburn making him sit out?

Let’s face it. The SEC is home to the wimpiest coaches. They refuse to schedule any team outside their time zone or away from their home stadiums. The Cam Newton story and the associated responses from these coaches means the SEC is also home to the biggest collection of blowhards.

He’s playing. He’s 2-2, 65 yds, 1 TD. I bet he plays one half today, if that.

Hey Pawwwwl, I think this is a conspiracy cooked up by the Big 10 to destroy the Southeastern Conference. They’re jealous, Pawwwwl.

Not a surprise.
Meyer has always been a scumbag. He should be more worried about every player of his getting arrested as he has had 30+ in the last few seasons
30+? Uh….what?
