Ines Sainz Is Back To Contribute Coverage For The Pacquiao-Magarito Title Fight
Ines Sainz will be contributing to Top Rank Boxing’s coverage of next Saturday’s WBC Super Welterweight title fight between Manny Paquiao and Antonio Margarito in Texas Stadium. Sainz was added to the team last month to “provide daily fight week reports and features and be part of the international broadcast team.” There are more pictures after the jump – plus Manny and Will Ferrell cover John Lennon.
When I look for an illegal feed on Saturday, I’ll definitely be looking for the international illegal feed.
And here’s Manny Pacquiao’s recent duet with Will Ferrell on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Time for the NBA marquee match-up of the week.
T-wolves @ Heat
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:36 PM
Obligatory
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:45 PM
The Pac fight is next Saturday. Although this week’s Lopez/Marquez fight on Showtime should be a good one.
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:49 PM
Margarito is getting a title shot? Sugar Shane needs to come back and ko this chump again.
Smells like a boring decision win for Pacq
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:52 PM
Mike Komisarek fucking blows
November 2nd, 2010 at 7:59 PM
Seeing a washed up T-Mac in a Pistons jersey is rage inducing.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:00 PM
I would pound the shit out of Ines Sainz.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:00 PM
Slow night here…
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:01 PM
Seeing a washed up T-Mac in a Pistons jersey is rage inducing
it’s just weird to think about, since I saw a washed up T-Mac in a Rockets Jersey a couple of seasons ago. Then i saw a washed up T-Mac in a Knicks jersey late last year. I can’t believe anybody signed him.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:02 PM
It isn’t fair how great that ass is.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:02 PM
The 15 minutes apparently aren’t up yet…
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:04 PM
Whats wrong with you? I hope she gets an hour long prime time special.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:06 PM
ditto. I was pissed the Pistons signed him. Then I totally forgot about it, then right before the season started I remember and got pissed again.
Luckily I think it is a one year vet minimum deal.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:07 PM
Hey, I love her booty too. I’m just saying…stop masquerading as a “journalist” already.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:08 PM
I will say her boxing form is much better than erin andrews. she is really keeping that hand up to protect the chin when throwing a punch. EA had her hands down and chin up.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:10 PM
I would try to make that 15 minutes last as long as possible.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:17 PM
Let’s be honest here, it would be 5 minutes and that’s with luck or booze in the system.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:18 PM

November 2nd, 2010 at 8:23 PM

November 2nd, 2010 at 8:23 PM
Yeah, she only has 3 degrees – none of which are in “journalism”. What a fraud.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:30 PM
I will say that ass is just not fair.

November 2nd, 2010 at 8:38 PM
I just made a batch of apple muffins. New recipe. I have some doubts as to how they turn out. I maybe should have chopped the apples finer.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:38 PM
Alright, I’m calling it. The Boston Bruins are getting the 1st overall pick in the 2011 draft. The Leafs are a terrible, terrible hockey team. Fucking soul crushing bunch of useless fucks.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:39 PM
I am working. Paul, Barr, Chandler and Conway haven’t came out to say anything yet. Still waiting on them to say their speeches. Barr adn Chandler are too close to call rgiht now.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:45 PM

November 2nd, 2010 at 8:48 PM
Garland, the two of us can wallow in the misery of our teams.
/starting to see whay Calgary was willing to part with Dion
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:51 PM
I’m in the minority. Every player that is not named Kessel, Schenn, Kulemin, Brown, Giguere or Gustavsson can die in a fire. The Blackhawks can take back their turnover machine too. Mike Komisarek couldn’t cut it in most Tuesday night rec leagues.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:52 PM
So, the point of this Marion Jones 30 for 30 was…?
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:53 PM
I’m actually pretty damn close to giving up on the Leafs and jumping on the Oilers bandwagon. At least you guys have a handful of young guys who could be impact players.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:54 PM
CBJ up 2-0 on the Habs. surprising score.
very Early, but the Western conference central division looks pretty damn good. every team would be in the playoffs if the season ended today.
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:54 PM
Woo! And I…can’t…watch…
November 2nd, 2010 at 8:55 PM
Might as well get on when it can only go up.
Even if we combined teams I don’t know that we make the playoffs.

November 2nd, 2010 at 9:00 PM
Can Conway just fucking call Paul already so I’m not sitting here for another five hours?
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:01 PM
I thought NBC didn’t project winners of election races anymore??
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:02 PM
That’s what I got too. So, cool.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:04 PM
about time.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:05 PM
And I didn’t even watch it.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:07 PM
Singleton should have talked to some of her relay teammates from the Olympics, see what they would have said. I don’t think it would have been as nice as some of the other people. I can’t recall, but did they end up their medals? Didn’t they originally have to?
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:08 PM
Garland
So J.S. Giguere got fucked by his team tonight?
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:11 PM
Is there a website that I can get TSN’s feed of the Habs/CBJ?

Linda McMahan has lost the senate race in CT. I guess Triple H is going to have to wait a little longer before he can take over the company.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:18 PM
Totally. Penalty shot because Komisarek fucking blows. The other two were powerplay goals where he was screened out.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:20 PM
Can’t you just picture the McMahon family passing Shane-O??
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:20 PM
There was a slight 99% false rumor the pistons could have moved to pittsburgh in 2014 earlier in the year. If that would have ever happen I would run the streets in the burgh naked with tears of joy.

Mantis – I’m no longer in the Detroit area, but from what I have heard from my friends still there, is that Mike Illitch buying the team is a near lock.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:23 PM
Ya know, I could almost see the T-Wolves moving. They’ve one of the older arenas in the NBA (21 years is old now), and about no chance anything happens for a new one. And ya know, I wouldn’t complain.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:25 PM
On ESPN today Buster Olney said that if the Yankees dont sign Cliff Lee that they are going to go after Carl Crawford. I dont understand the logic in that. How do you go from craving one of the top pitchers in baseball in order to improve your pitching, to then going 180 and trying to improve your offense instead? Is the next best available pitcher this year that big a drop off?
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:26 PM
I think only 5 people would.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:26 PM
I thought NBC didn’t project winners of election races anymore??
they can only project the ones where Dems were obviously going to win, liek DE & CT
/carry on
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:26 PM
I thought it was already a done deal. I was crushed when the developments happened. Sucks the Pistons are trash and won’t be on any primetime games the whole year.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:28 PM
The always consistent Andrew Brunette scores. 1-0 Wild.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:28 PM

JJ Hickson looks like he may one day turn into a beast and I wouldn’t mind a roll in the hay with Marco Rubio’s wife.

it is for precisely this reason that about an hour ago i saw a tweet by them that said they projected the Repubs to take over the house
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:32 PM
there was a heavy rumor that he was going to run the UFC’s China office, but that didn’t pan out.
yep. only way they get on national TV is they play the Heat on one of those NBA TV fan nights.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:33 PM
I’d rather the T-Wolves move to Vegas than Pittsburgh though. It’s gotta happen sooner or later
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:34 PM
All I heard was the standard “to pursue other interests”. He probably just read the writing on the wall when HHH married into the family.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:34 PM
That’s how NBC opened their election coverage. Why I was wondering.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:39 PM
It’s insanely warm here tonight. It’s still like 75 outside.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:40 PM
it is for precisely this reason that about an hour ago i saw a tweet by them that said they projected the Repubs to take over the house
I mentioned a few weeks ago I watched a doc on Al Franken and the build-up to the 2004 election. I hate to say (mainly because I really don’t like Franken) that I enjoyed watching him go on and on about Bush & the Republicans & how they were going to get killed, knowing the outcome.
The despair on all their faces on that Wednesday morning was magical.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:42 PM
Why do comedians think they are all political experts?
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:43 PM
Thing of it is that the race should have never been that close. Norm Coleman was very, very beatable (seeing how he changed with the tides something fierce). Had the Minnesota DFL not gone with the “star power” (read, better fundraising), never would have seen it play out like it did.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:44 PM

November 2nd, 2010 at 9:48 PM
Why do comedians ,actors/actresses and musicians think they are all political experts?
I don’t know that they think they are experts, it’s just that they get asked all the time. And what would you do if you were in a position to make your opinions known to the public? Or if people cared what you thought?
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:48 PM
Celtics B Squad with Harangody, some European and Von Wafer is lighting up the pistons.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:48 PM
Why do comedians think they are all political experts?
They spent 90 minutes saying what an idiot Bush is (he was right about that), and saying how great it will be with Kerry in the WH. How they couldn’t see that Kerry was a doofus of epic proportions is beyond me.
THe open mouthed stares and blank looks at the TV after the election was hilarious (to me)
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:49 PM
Ya know, I read 2004 and saw 2008. Go me.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:51 PM
Inez Sainz’s ass is incredible, BTW. And that accent is adorable.
November 2nd, 2010 at 9:51 PM

November 2nd, 2010 at 10:03 PM
No, they think they’re experts. I used to cover entertainment for almost 10 years, so trust me, they do. You dont just ask a celebrity about politics just to ask, you ask because they mention it first at some point. And no one cares what a celebrity thinks about politics other than other celebrities so they can high five each other.
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:03 PM

November 2nd, 2010 at 10:04 PM
Wall just came out of a timeout with 14.5 seconds left down 1 in OT, and he looked pissed. He then said with a pouty face “give me the fuckin ball” to himself. They ran a play for Blatche, and got a couple free throws for a lead. Wall does have 29 pts, 13 asts, 9 steals (8 TOs tho), on 9-16 shooting, so i’d say that’s a fair sentiment on his part.

I remember the day of all the networks were predicting that he was going to win and acted amazed when he didnt.

The usual spiel. He said we have a conservative party in the Republicans, and centrist party, in the Democrats, so why not have a liberal party? He also mentioned his strong support for Bill Bradley over the last 15 years and he excoriated lobbyists.

Exactly, totally agree. We’re practically living in a duopoly now. Democracy means you can vote for whoever, but I’m constantly reminded that I’m “throwing my vote away” if I vote for something other than the two major parties. Something is seriously wrong with that.

So….Who’s got/buying Goldeneye for Wii?
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:47 PM
Hawk, I saw it I was wondering if it would show up on here. He seems like he loves him some politicians (asshole).
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:49 PM
If I had a Wii, I would. Still playing my 64 version every now and then though.
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:50 PM
Ahh, I never got into them. The first one I started playing and it was supposed to take place in the past, but then it starts off in the present in a science lab and I thought I was playing the wrong game and never picked it up again.
I have Bayonetta to get to, seems like my kind of game, though it came out a while ago already. I tried Little Big Planet but its one of those games where when you start it’s just a tutorial for like the first hour, which I do not like. I have the new Guitar Hero which I have not even tried yet siting around. 2 years ago I would of finished it in like a day.
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:52 PM
Brutal Legend was OK. Felt like it was one of those games that your supposed to like because of the person behind it, like the Fable games.
November 2nd, 2010 at 10:53 PM

I guess I’m just a sports nut…I love everything to do with sports and competition. I tried my hand at Halo and such…didn’t really like it. I guess I was what they call a “noob”.
I guess its cause I grew up with my brother and we always wanted bragging rights.

I used to really be into Madden and the NHL games from EA on Genesis and Super Nintendo because they were just concentrating on being fun back then, but now they are just complicated. You can play against some one and both get over 100 points just by running the ball every down, which I miss. NBA Jam is coming out soon, but it’s only for the Wii I think.
And I forgot what it was called, but the baseball game for the NES where the best guy was this guy named Paste on NJ, I used to play that a lot when it came out.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:10 PM
Lakers bench looks much more cohesive this year than last so far. I wonder what’s better for team chemistry, adding Matt Barnes or subtracting Jordan Farmar.

Subtracting Farmer because that dude was pretty selfish on the court.
Shannon Brown is a true team player (he could have gotten a better contract with other teams but chose to stay for the ring opportunity).

Finally saw Toy Story 3 today. The first 1/2 was kind of slow because it was all set up, but the second 1/2 was awesome. I pretended to buy it for my 3 year old, but I really got it for myself.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:20 PM
No shame in that. Toy Story is a classic. I’d do the same if they came out with a remake of the Lion King (in 3D!) while I had a kid.
In fact, I’d probably still watch Disney movies as long as they were funny.
Favourite disney movie? Tarzan and the Emperor’s New Groove.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:21 PM

i have many favorites from the kids’ section, both movies and TV shows. love Iron Giant in movies, Dexter’s Lab in TV. there’s a new TV show called Adventure Time with Finn and Jake which is bizarre, absurd, bad drawing and funny as hell

November 2nd, 2010 at 11:22 PM
lakers continue to look pretty good.
This. Though Zach Randolph isn’t playing tonight. The Lakers usually struggle against the Grizzlies, too. As well as the Bobcats and Blazers. And Marc Gasol always does good against us.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:23 PM

Sleeping Beauty. Unless Finding Nemo counts.

November 2nd, 2010 at 11:28 PM
Aladin is awesome too though.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:29 PM
Ive watched Adventure Time a couple of times, its pretty good. There’s that show on Nickelodeon “Victorious”, which is not a cartoon, however the girl on it, Victoria Justice, if she’s not jailbait I dont know what it. She’s a teen, but looks like she’s early 20′s. Girls that young are not supposed to look like that. That ICarly show is horrible though. I cant believe what passes for good with teens now.
And there’s that new kids network, Hub, which is good because they show the old Batman show with Adam West on it, which I used to love when I was a kid.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:29 PM
If prop 19 wins, it’ll be better than V-J Day. There, I said it.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:30 PM
I love the orignal Toy story, for whatever reason I still haven’t seen 2 and 3.
I also really like some of the under the radar disney – Robin Hood and Sword in the stone in particular.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:31 PM
Aladin.
mmm, get me some of that jasmine
also, jafar is such a great villain, like scar from LK.
that scene where he tells jasmine that aladdin has been sentenced to death is awesome. “how frightfully upsetting, had i but known. sadly the boy’s sentence has already been carried out—DEATH!”

If youre going to count Pixar as Disney, then Toy Story trilogy and Wall-E are the best I say. I’ll throw in Incredibles and Duck Tails too.
November 2nd, 2010 at 11:34 PM
I was surprised by sleeping beauty being there as well.
/ Not that there’s anything wrong with that

Hey, I watched it all the time at my grandmas house as a kid. The chubby blue ferry is funny, and the big black dragon was cool. My grandma and grandpa ended up getting murdered. So I like it. A lot. It’s a classic!
/not trying to make you feel bad. Honestly.

My uncle was a drug addict, and he robbed his parents house with a friend and bludgeoned them to death in their sleep. They were really well off and had a nice house in Yountville. Which is in Napa County. They were building a huge house close to where I grew up in Napa City at the time. I had to wait until I got back in touch with my mom a couple years ago to find out what really happened. I was like 8 when it happened.
