It just seems like you’re against them, especially in basketball.

2 yrs ago they KILLED me by beating UConn in the F4. I had UConn to win the title at the start of the season, and GREAT odds. Not saying UConn (Thabeet’s team) would have beat UNC, but the payout would have been awesome, and i was pissed.

Then MSU crapped the bed in an ugly final. i guess that loss lingered for a bit.

Agreed. Only difference is that he’s still young enough that you can hope he matures. Gilbert’s a lost cause.

no, why would I? in certain circumstances i root against them; sometimes for them. but i have no visceral reaction to MSU
