[UPDATE: TMZ now says Seau fell asleep at the wheel, and didn't intentionally drive his Escalade off a cliff.]

Way too much TMZ for my taste.

He was just practicing to become a Baja driver for the next episode of sports jobs.

How the fuck do you “allegedly” drive your car off a cliff? Not really much room for gray area there.

Too much brain trauma

If you think about it, this is a brilliant move by Seau. Instead of the whole assault thing, we are talking about him driving his car off a cliff. Politicians do this kind of thing all the time when they get accused of doing something.

Just hang loose, blood.

Was he texting like that rubber faced Hollywood Plastic Surgeon who died texting while he went over the cliff?

What’s with it with people in the Carlsbad/Oceanside driving their vehicles off a cliff? I know a scumbag EX Marine that claimed he was going to do that so he could get out. He later admitted it was BS

Stanley Moats and Conrad Brean are known to advise their clients to go with attempted suicide.

Why not just tell everyone your gay? A lot less painful.

Whatever happened to http://www.tmzsports.com? I thought it was supposed to be out by now.
Any of you ever fuck up your knee? I destoryed mine Saturday and have no clue how bad it is. No pain just sitting around, but completely unstable walking and definite pain if I have to make a lateral move.
October 18th, 2010 at 2:31 PM
I actually thought about the attempted suicide angle. Sometimes in DV cases the perpetrator severely injures/kills victim then offs himself.
/had 2 DV murder/suicides in the last 2 weeks here

Like Packers TE Jermichael Finley, LB Brady Poppinga has torn meniscus and will undergo surgery tomorrow to determine how long he’ll miss.
It gets worse.

during one of my internships, i covered a bicycle race, which was interrupted when some old person drove aroiund a barriacde and into the pack. i actually saw this happen, but had to write allegedly

Maybe Braylon could give him some driving lessons after he teaches him to Dougie.
October 18th, 2010 at 2:39 PM
Not seeing where he “allegedly” drove his car off a cliff anywhere. Am amused that if you’re a fan of domestic violence TMZ has several links to other domestic violence stories under the Seau one.
October 18th, 2010 at 2:39 PM
I like how the headline in most places now, including cnn.com, is that Junior Seau drove off a cliff. You have to click to find out it was only after beating his wife.
October 18th, 2010 at 2:39 PM
Oh, only the title of the post. Anyway, can’t that allegedely just mean “with intention?”
October 18th, 2010 at 2:40 PM
Whoa whoa whoa? He went to Michigan and then played for Cleveland. He is way past saving.

Jersey, you heard Budden’s Mood Muzik 4, specifically Remember The Titans?

There’s been a Tim Tebow sighting. Came in the end zone.
From MMQB. I do not want to see that highlight.

Jose: I haven’t gotten a chance to listen yet. I downloaded it to my laptop but haven’t listened to it yet. Good?
October 18th, 2010 at 2:54 PM
Very. So far, I’m only 5 songs deep but Remember The Titans has Royce, Fab, & Banks on it, and it is awesome. Royce & Budden spaz, I’m not sure who won.

I had no intention of watching the debate tonight between Cuomo and Paladino. But that was before I knew ALL the candidates were in on this thing, including the guy from the “Rent Is 2 Damn High” party. I’m in.
October 18th, 2010 at 2:56 PM
Oh damn.
October 18th, 2010 at 2:58 PM
Bears mentioning on the NY Governor’s race, Andrew Cuomo is currently hitting this.

I can live with that. I really hope I didn’t sever my ACL or MCL.
October 18th, 2010 at 3:01 PM
KC Res, how old are you? Would make sure it isn’t your ACL. How did it happen? Did your knee swell?

including the guy from the “Rent Is 2 Damn High” party. I’m in.
I met that guy once ( I assume that guy is a one man political party) on 7th Avenue in Brooklyn. He makes a compelling argument re: rents and how to fix them. I don’t want to spoil the debate for you, but he suggests that they get lowered, significantly.
October 18th, 2010 at 3:24 PM
KC Res, how old are you? Would make sure it isn’t your ACL. How did it happen? Did your knee swell?
Mid thirties. Not a lot of swelling. Good sign?
/God I hope it just some floating meniscus.
October 18th, 2010 at 3:26 PM
sounds like sand in your vajeen. shake it off.
Yeah, I know. Pain is one thing, it is just the lack of stability that is bugging me. Injury update report on Thursday.
October 18th, 2010 at 3:27 PM
KC resident. The lateral movement is a direct red flag to the ACL. Hope for the best though.
Sorry man, that sucks
October 18th, 2010 at 6:26 PM
A feeling of instability generally is not a good sign. However, w/ ACL tears, the knee usually swells pretty significantly. Could be an isolated MCL which generally heals on its own. I would give it 7-10 days, and if not better seek medical attention.
