How many of those 11 losses by 4 points or less involved Rodgers leading the OFFENSE down the field to score and take the lead only to watch the DEFENSE pass interfere and defensive hold to allow to other team down the field to score. The problem is the defensive backfield. Rodgers is already playing QB and RB, does he have to line up at safety as well?

Cowherd also discredited Rodgers in big games by speaking highly of Favre in big games. In Cowherd style, he conveniently omitted Favre ending four seasons with horrible interceptions, including 2007 and 2009 Division Playoff Games.

My favorite part of the Nolan/McCarthy scouting of Rodgers. They thought he was too arrogant. I’d rather have arrogance than the incompetence of Alex Smith.

In yesterday’s game, Miami ran 78 offensive plays and Green Bay ran 59. Miami had the ball for 37 and green bay for 28.

3rd down conversions are an issue for the offense, but the main point is correct. Without Clay Matthews, the Packers defense is very, very average.

Being better than 3-13 on third down would help…he’s not above blame for their rocky start this season but the W-L thing is just stupid

Bedard tweeted that the defense “failed” Rodgers in 2008. Rodgers and the offense have had the ball in the last four OT games and are 0-4. Is it all his fault? No, but something is obviously not working.

This is pointless. Were those 7-13 and 1-11 numbers where Rodgers had the ball on a final drive with no more than 2 minutes left? Did he throw backbreaking INTs or fumble the ball when his O-line couldn’t handle a blitz? If not, it’s NOT Rodgers’ fuck up. We have to zoom in on the nuances of each game and not just say that so and so QB” sucks in close games.
