get shut out? like the SEC has a preordained right to have a team in the BCS title game?
if they don’t earn it, they don’t earn it…they wouldn’t be “shut out.”

Can we please wait until November to start talking about a one loss Alabama team not playing for a championship while Boise should? I will gladly discuss the NBA, a college football playoff, Harvard Crew or the Phoenix Club instead of that. I know Duffy will help us out.
Jay V has to be as close to a heroin high as possible without drugs today.

if your house is underwater, why are you paying your mortgage?
nice to see you don’t give a shit about your neighbors, or the economy in general TBL. great attitude.

Will Dallas coach Wade Phillips survive this week? Someone’s going to feel the wrath of Jerry.
there’s nobody to promote. The OC is worse than Wade, and Wade’s the DC. And you can’t promote the special teams coach to interim head coach in a week where your special teams basically gave up a touchdown, got a kick blocked and did nothing else.
It’s Wade all the way off the cliff.
October 11th, 2010 at 8:56 AM
You should have hung 70 on Indiana, Spencer. Style points.
October 11th, 2010 at 8:57 AM
Huh? How about the banks — and corporations in general — don’t feel some moral obligation to you or your loan. You’ll receive no mercy from them. Treat your financial decisions, that includes you home, like you’re a business too. If it makes financial sense for you to bail, bail.
October 11th, 2010 at 8:58 AM
SC…agreed.

I wanted Richt to put at least 50 on Tenn, but the man just doesn’t have it in him. He doesn’t know how to run the score up.

No dog in this fight, but since I have friends who are underwater by as much as $450k due to the FL homevalue implosion, and some are paying and some have not, the one thing I will say is have NO REASON to give a fuck about their neighbors. Most of their neighbors are in the same boat

every guy that doesn’t pay his mortgage is keeping money that could be lent out by the bank. if everyone’s attitude was fuck everyone else, we wouldn’t have much of an economy or society.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:01 AM
Still too early to make that kind of judgement, but yeah, things look… mediocre.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:01 AM
That FBI tracker thing was crazy. I can’t imagine finding that on my car.
I wish they’d withheld that guy’s name, and seen how many people jumped on the invasion of privacy bandwagon. Then ask those people if they supported Yasir Affiffi, and watch them change their mind.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:02 AM
Surprised this play didn’t make the roundup. Play of the day yesterday, no?
October 11th, 2010 at 9:02 AM
More like a big fat cocaine bender.
I can’t even describe the awesomeness of the last 8 days. Phils sweep, 2 huge Skins wins…and, oh yeah, a lil ol game in Columbia, SC on Saturday afternoon.
I am pondering whether I am the only individual on the planet in attendance at both the Halladay no-hitter and the Bama beatdown. Seems highly possible.

Sportscenter hints at a story of Sam Bradford having an injury, which got my attention, turns out they are talking about Mark Clayton. ESPN has slowly been losing me.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:05 AM
The NFC does look terrible. It looks like Bal and Pitt are the best two teams right now, and then maybe (gag) the Jets. Indy looks terrible, SD looks terrible and the Pats defense is pretty shitty. Not a lot of good teams this year.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:05 AM
Fuck yeah! Go Vikes.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:05 AM
I saw that Lefty. It seems very vague, but it’s not surprising. UGA players simply can’t help themselves. They have to get arrested.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:06 AM
who is laura dern and why is she so fugly?
October 11th, 2010 at 9:06 AM
So you’re argument is that people should care first and foremost about their neighbors and society in general, and themselves and their family come after that?
CJ, you agree with that?
October 11th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
For today and today only, I am seated on the Jets bandwagon. Fuck Moss, fuck Favre and fuck the Vikings. First place Bears, baby!
October 11th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
if everyone’s attitude was fuck everyone else, we wouldn’t have much of an economy or society.
I don’t get why this means you have to continually throw good money after bad. For the sake of the country’s well being? That’s fiscally irresponsible.
Who’s more important, you or your neighbor? You, or the country? To you, I hope it’s you.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:07 AM
Eff, the you’re/your mistake this early on a Monday. It’s going to be a long week.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:09 AM
I love the fact that Brantley is worse than Chris Leak, yet all of the Florida fans were thinking he was John Elway. What’s scary is to think about how good Florida’s offense would be had Cam Newton not stolen a laptop. Urban’s offense is great when he has a running QB, but it is a massive pile of shit when he doesn’t.
/still think FLA rolls UGA though
October 11th, 2010 at 9:10 AM
peyton hillis is a fucking stud.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:11 AM
I think it will be close.
Damn, I wish we had the Gators in Columbia this year. No way would they beat us at home. I still think we have a good shot at ‘em down there, but will be tough.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:12 AM
Who’s more important, you or your neighbor? You, or the country? To you, I hope it’s you.
I also find it personally shortsighted. you may want to buy another house someday, or a car, or have a credit card. walking away from a huge financial obligation doesn’t make future lenders view you as a good risk.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:13 AM
I’m curious who is going to give LOLSU their first loss. I want it to be someone like Ole Miss.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:13 AM
i want to waterboard the asshole who wrote that song.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:14 AM
Just read the Conrad post. I’d bet he starts tonight, since the alternative is Diory Hernandez, and Conrad’s a better hitter. Also, Bobby Cox taking Kimbrel out had more to do with losing that game than the last Conrad error.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:14 AM
If the Mad Hatter can beat UF in the swamp, the Ole Ball Coach can hang 50 on them, Jay V.

I also find it personally shortsighted. you may want to buy another house someday, or a car, or have a credit card. walking away from a huge financial obligation doesn’t make future lenders view you as a good risk.
but you’re paying interest on an investment that’s nowhere near worth it, and that you’ll have to continue paying for years and years and years. If your house is worth 100,000 less than you mortgaged it for…I’m not good at math, but that’s a lot of money you’re wasting that you can’t recoup. It’s not as though not defaulting this month is going to bring that property value back to normal.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:17 AM
Insane Clown Posse, does anyone actually listen to them?
October 11th, 2010 at 9:17 AM
im not so sure…i don’t think we can apply anything that LSU does to normal teams. LSU is a voodoo team.

Sure I’d be up for that. They’ll probably just split though.

At this point what we know is that they are must see TV.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:23 AM
I can’t believe Mad Men’s season finale is next week. That makes me so sad.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:24 AM
Plus this is South Carolina we’re talking about…apologies to Jay V, but it’s South Carolina, they’ll find a way to screw up being handed the SEC East on a golden platter.
And/or lose to Clemson.
/the entire state is full of fail
October 11th, 2010 at 9:24 AM
It would provide her an extension of her 15 minutes if she did.
It’s not like she has anything better to do.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:25 AM
LSU has more talent on their roster than anyone (or equal to anyone). They just have a terrible OC. That defense may be the best in the country though.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:26 AM
Jay-Z probably won’t be thrilled with the Miami police department

October 11th, 2010 at 9:26 AM
welcome to the tea party.
wasn’t TBL just a few months ago yelling about personal responsibility?
walking away is the trendy thing to do to fuck over banks and start over, but all those people will be bitching when their credit scores are so low they can’t even rent a couch from Rent-A-Center.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:26 AM
It took an all-time boner from Derek Dooley for them to beat the Vols… AT HOME. It pains me to say this, but LSU this year is like Iowa last year.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:28 AM
She was in “Blue Velvet” and is the darling of anyone who worships at the altar of David Lynch.
She was nice looking back in the day, but is clearly not aging well.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:28 AM
Thanks are in order for Cousin Ron. I posted it in the Datsyuk thread on late Saturday night but thanks for catering to us hockey folk. Meat and cheese platter has been sent.
I just addressed it to Cousins of Ron Mexico and assumed the USPS would know how to find you.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:28 AM
Plus this is South Carolina we’re talking about…apologies to Jay V, but
Perhaps. I’m already mentally preparing for a trip to the SECC game that is darkened by a loss to Clemson. Would seem fitting.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:28 AM
Eh, it’s no surprise…Scheyer is a marginal NBA prospect at best, and have a serious eye injury that almost led to serious vision impairment is not conducive to making an NBA roster.
He’ll go to Israel, make some bank, and resurface in 5-7 years on the Duke bench as an assistant.
/order restored, bitches
October 11th, 2010 at 9:29 AM
He’s not that bad except he continues to try to fit a square peg into a round hole. He does not have the personnel he needs to run the offense he wants yet that doesn’t stop him from trying. So, yeah, I guess he is pretty terrible.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:30 AM
I’m sorry, that is fucking crazy. Everyone who is “smart” in the real estate world — people who are in the business — are walking away from properties when it makes financial sense to do so.
And your argument is that “personal responsibility” should trump that for people with families? That they owe the bank and society something?
This isn’t a conservative/liberal argument. It’s a common sense argument. Do what’s best for you and your family. When everyone is doing that, society works pretty well.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:30 AM
More like the NTTAWT quote of the week.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:31 AM
They have WAAYYY more talent than Iowa ever had.
Jay V: This is Spurrier’s year. The East is garbage and he has the team to win it. I can’t believe Garcia beat a team with more talent than his own. I never thought I’d see that day. I would take Bama over SC in the Dome though, but with Aub and LSU playing well, they might not make it there. SC has a real shot at a BCS game, but as someone said above, they could also lose to Kentucky or Clemson.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:31 AM
unfortunately the QB’s they have only fit a triangle hole offense.
/seriously…they’re terrible

Can we start a bounty on these people for taunting this girl and her family? Where can I send my check?
October 11th, 2010 at 9:32 AM
walking away is the trendy thing to do to fuck over banks and start over, but all those people will be bitching when their credit scores are so low they can’t even rent a couch from Rent-A-Center.
People who are underwater’s credit scores are so fucked up now, plus the banks aren’t giving any money anyway. If I owed $400K with NO chance of recovering even 50% of that money, I’d take a looong look at walking away from it.
62% of the people in my county and over 50% of the people in FL are upside down on their mortgage.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:33 AM
I read that in Cobra Commander’s voice for some reason.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:34 AM
i know people in that situation, they made some really fucking stupid decisions to put themselves in that position. i also know a lot of them don’t get understand what they are doing with walking away any more than how they didn’t understand what put them in that place to start with.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:34 AM
The entire SEC is crazy wide open. Auburn and LSU can afford a loss as long as they beat Alabama head to head for the tiebreaker and you have Arkansas that could play the part as spoiler.
SC should take the East, but it’s going to come down to the Florida game in the swamp. Spurrier back at the swamp needing a win to make it to the SEC champ game. That will be fun.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:35 AM
This ice girl is totally checking out the Talented One’s package. This young Kane fan appears to be sending a sexual message to the Golden Jet as well.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:35 AM
1999 Michigan State over Michigan. Little did I know that the entire team seemed to follow suit. they were blitzed by Purdue the following game.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:36 AM
i can’t take SC seriously with those fugly unis tho. in CFB, your power lies with the uniform…trashy and flashy need not apply.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:36 AM
I love renting!
October 11th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
So for those people it would be a good time to start making an intelligent decision. If it makes sense to walk away, walk away. The bank is going to do what they think is best for them, always (or at least what they perceive that to be). Homeowners should to.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
Where can I send my check?
anywhere but a mortgage servicer
October 11th, 2010 at 9:37 AM
So the only bangable women in Chicago are the Blackhawk’s ice girls is what I took from that picture. Buzz, woof.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:38 AM
Did anyone see the Tampa TD that won the game yesterday? Apparently people are pissed that they called THAT a TD no problem, but Calvin Johnson’s TD from Week 2 by rule was not.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:39 AM
They won on a field goal, so yeah if that was ruled a TD I would be pissed too.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:40 AM
Is it worth seeing? I’m avoiding looking at anything from that game as I was hungover and dumb enough Sunday morning to put my Survivor Pool future on the Bengals.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
I love renting!
3 years from now, so will I. Sell the house, move to the beach & rent from some dumb fuck who’s underwater and still paying to keep his place. Right before the hurricane hits, I pack up & move somewhere else
October 11th, 2010 at 9:41 AM
She’s not very well known. Her biggest thing was staring in this little movie called Jurassic Park. It was directed by this guy, Speilsien, Speilburg? Can’t remember.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:42 AM
The Saints cost me the TBL Survivor Pool. Arizona doesn’t score an offensive TD yet manages to put up 30 points. What the hell?
October 11th, 2010 at 9:42 AM
THAT was laura dern? i take it back.
but your attempt at snark sucked.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:42 AM
There was a catch on the sideline that was ruled a catch on the field and upheld on replay that put them into better field goal position, but it was never a catch.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:43 AM
Hah, I read the recap wrong, whoops. Insomnia blows. It was actually a 21 yard deep out completion that put them in FG range.

October 11th, 2010 at 9:47 AM
They cost me my work eliminator pool as well. Though I should note I let my wife pick first for her entry and then I pick second (no sense us both getting eliminated). She stole my first choice this week (Colts).

And did anybody see the gayest dugout celebration of all-time starring Tim Lincecum yesterday?
October 11th, 2010 at 9:52 AM
i pray michigan’s mediocrity is NEVER irrelevant.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
So Michigan has played one good team and is 0-1, right? That defense is fucking atrocious.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:53 AM
Yes, yes I did. Many times.

October 11th, 2010 at 9:55 AM
You’re already on the McNabb Hater Club board of directors. You’re working on becoming the chairman, though, I see.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:56 AM
I’m not usually a fan of gay hippie Lincecum, but I thought his bouncing around the dugout throwing expletives around was pretty fun.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:56 AM
michigan’s defense does suck donkey balls, but MSU’s running game is badass.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:56 AM
There was a catch on the sideline that was ruled a catch on the field and upheld on replay that put them into better field goal position, but it was never a catch.

Not only did it look out of place because the rest of the team celebrated in a way much more subdued than did Timmy, but he may or may not have yelled “Fuck yeah cum.”*
* Braves bias.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
You cant look at that, you have to look at the Moxie Percentage!
October 11th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
I really don’t think they win again this year.
October 11th, 2010 at 9:59 AM
brah, it’s footbaw season and you have a top 10 team and the end of golf season…let the baseball go quietly into that night.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
I made a lot of money with MSU +4.5. It was an awesome Saturday.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:00 AM
If there was one thing on my mind after that horrible throw on third down that the refs bailed the Skins out with a bullshit defensive holding call, it was MVP! MVP! MVP!
October 11th, 2010 at 10:01 AM
Better not win this weekend is all I care about. This is our only semi-difficult game until Nov. 20th. Wisconsin showed me their true colors on Saturday in the first half. 78 rushing yards behind the best OL in the country.
Run the ball, Bielema.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:01 AM
There was an article on ESPN.com this week about Michigan being able to run the table, how dare you all suggest they aren’t elite.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
Sound advice.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
When is the guy with the 67.4 completion %, 1,419 yards, and 8.1 YPA getting benched? Shouldn’t Quinn have supplanted his sorry ass yet?
October 11th, 2010 at 10:02 AM
Arizona lost at home to an Oregon State team that was beaten by both Boise and TCU…Iowa’s a mid-major
October 11th, 2010 at 10:03 AM
There was an article on ESPN.com this week about Michigan being able to run the table, how dare you all suggest they aren’t elite.
there was also one about Hakeem Nicks being good at football, but that one has been definitively debunked.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:04 AM
So MSU and OSU don’t play each other this year? It would be funny (though not really) if both ended up winning out.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
I approve of weekly updates of Denver QB Controversy 2010.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
If you read what was actually written, you’d shut up pretty quick.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
whoa now, lets not get crazy here. ole piss is still fucking terrible.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:05 AM
lollollolollololololoolll
At this juncture, Nicks is pretty much headed to the Pro Bowl. But he’s not as good as Massaquoi & Britt.
Still laughing about that one…
October 11th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
if both win out, OSU gets the nod and MSU might get shafted out of the rose bowl thanks to boise state crying like they’re a team with a bunch of NC’s and a century old tradition.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
SC: Sounds good
Really? I dont get that. I hope Im not paying a cent for housing when I’m your age.
My wife and I have lived in this place longer than any other we’ve ever lived. No interest in living somewhere forever. Portability more important
October 11th, 2010 at 10:06 AM
I could see it. They will have to put up 28+ on any team worth a damn, and I just don’t see that happening. It’s why I can’t wait for the game next year with Nebraska. The Huskers will struggle with OSU, Wisc and other power teams, but they are built to stop the spread. I think they’ll torch Michigan.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:07 AM
God, if that somehow ended up being the NC Game the South might actually rise again to declare war
October 11th, 2010 at 10:08 AM
Ritty, I want to go to that game this weekend in the worst way.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:08 AM
If you read what was actually written, you’d shut up pretty quick.
all that’s missing was the dismissive sigh.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
**yawn**
October 11th, 2010 at 10:09 AM
RATING W L SCHEDL(RANK)
3 Boise State A = 90.71 5 0 72.15( 28)
15. Ohio State A = 85.08 6 0 63.45( 117)
October 11th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
We’re going to crush you.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
we won’t win out. and not saying that as a reverse jinx. i don’t see us getting through back-to-back weeks on the road unscathed (northwestern and iowa)
October 11th, 2010 at 10:10 AM
So I now know how my four year old nephew feels when I refuse to have an argument with him. He thinks he’s won because I don’t want to engage someone who won’t listen or take responsibility.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
Linthicum and Lincicum in one weekend. Weird.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:11 AM
Like MSU has? Kidding, Sparty.
I think NU’s defense is perfect to combat OSU’s offense. Unfortunately, I think they’re defense is well-equipped to stop NU as well. It’d be a helluva game.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:12 AM
they’re = their
Idiot.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:13 AM
So who are the ten idiots who gave BSU and OU first place votes?
October 11th, 2010 at 10:15 AM
But tradition! National Championships! All those things matter in this current year!
October 11th, 2010 at 10:16 AM
Give it a few weeks, once Boise gets into the “meat” of their conference schedule the tables will turn…same thing happens every year
October 11th, 2010 at 10:17 AM
that gripe would be legitimate if OSU didn’t have iowa, wisky, michigan and PSU still left on the schedule.
but yea, they decide who goes to the NC game after 6 games.
fuck both of you.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
No better than the dreck BSU plays.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
Fuck the Saints.
Get off my lawn!
But tradition! National Championships! All those things matter in this current year!
All I’m rooting for is whatever causes the most chaos. If it’s Boise making the title game, fine. If it’s Boise being shut out of the title game despite being undefeated, so be it.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:18 AM
but yea, they decide who goes to the NC game after 6 games.
if Alabama wins out, they should play an intra-squad scrimmage to determine the title. They’re that good.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
Exactly what Im rooting for
October 11th, 2010 at 10:19 AM
hyperbole much?
October 11th, 2010 at 10:20 AM
don’t kid yourself. BSU’s best remaining opponent is nevada, which is a carbon copy of michigan.
/you have no idea how much i enjoyed typing that
October 11th, 2010 at 10:20 AM
Let me have my fun dammit.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:21 AM
Seriously people. The sheer existence of sports blogs compared to now and when Auburn got fucked is not going to be enough to change the system.
Absolutely. But he doesn’t get to rightfully shit on Michigan all year as being frauds then mention them as helping OSU’s strength of schedule.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
Sorry choas just means going back to the old system where Boise State actually has less of a chance of sniffing a title.
Why don’t you people get it?
October 11th, 2010 at 10:25 AM
An 11-1 Bama, 12-0 OSU, 12-0 Boise, 12-0 Utah or TCU and a 13-0 OU or NEB is a real possibility.
/though it’s more likely everyone loses once outside of the boise and the TCU/Utah winner. Imagine a Boise-Utah NC game…
October 11th, 2010 at 10:28 AM
Awesome.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:29 AM
Sorry choas just means going back to the old system where Boise State actually has less of a chance of sniffing a title. Why don’t you people get it?
Whatever puts more pressure on the NCAA to have a tournament.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:30 AM
Should be the nightmare scenario for Dan Wetzel, TBL, and the anti-BCS tinfoil hat types. Pretty much torpedoes their lack of access argument.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:31 AM
This would never, ever, ever happen. If it came close to that I’m sure the government would be all over it.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:33 AM
Right now PSU’s defense is as bad as Michigan’s. The only difference is we’re missing 11 of the 22 players on our 2 deep chart.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:33 AM
Imagine a Boise-Utah NC game…
Maybe if Bama and Ohio State make the national title game with 1 loss while Boise, Oregon and TCU sit out undefeated…
/Just tosses out ideas here
October 11th, 2010 at 10:35 AM
If 1 loss Bama beats undefeated Ohio State in the “title” game, and Boise wins their BCS bowl, how many people vote Boise the champion? That would be entertaining.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:36 AM
The gov’t? For what? It’s destroying the supossed cartel and putting individual bowls in charge of who they invite. There would be NO #1 vs. #2 title game. Rather a vote at the end of the year.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:36 AM
Please tell me that you didn’t type this with a straight face.
I’ll give you @ Iowa and I’ll give you the Nevada = Michigan argument. Wisconsin is meh and is not much different than VT or Oregon St. right now. And Penn St. isn’t very good at all. At all. They haven’t scored more than 13 points against any team from a BCS conference this year.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:36 AM
The old system will happen before a playoff, but a plus-one will happen before the old system returns.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:37 AM
You should probably read up on it then. A four team playoff is what you’re getting, or you’re getting the old system. And I don’t know why the government would have much say in it.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:38 AM
Bama could still make the title game since their loss came somewhat early and they’d have several big games left (Auburn, LSU, SECC game) to sway some votes.
I don’t think a one-loss OSU team makes it over an undefeated BSU or TCU.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:39 AM
Dr. Tom: When OSU is finished with it’s season, their schedule will be more daunting than Boise’s. It won’t be close. The accumulative affect is something that Boise people refuse to accept, but it’s true. Playing big-level teams every week adds up. Bama just finished playing 3 top-20 teams back-to-back-to-back and they still have Auburn and LSU PLUS a potential SEC title game. That shit adds up.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:40 AM
If TCU runs the table and Utah doesn’t plummet the voters have to put TCU ahead of BSU right?
October 11th, 2010 at 10:41 AM
Agreed, but it’s fun to fuck with Spencer.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:42 AM
That’s dangerously close to getting off message.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:43 AM
So…Greg Little ruled ineligible…does that mean UNC forfeits last year’s 20 win season?
October 11th, 2010 at 10:44 AM
Husker, the SEC argument for schedule strength is an easy one to make and you won’t find me arguing against it.
And of course OSU’s schedule is tougher than Boise’s, I’m not really arguing that. But OSU does not have that tough a schedule in any way shape or form. By season’s end, there’s a pretty good chance that only Iowa and maybe Wisconsin are the only ranked teams they’ve defeated. It’s a schedule that even Boise St could handle.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:44 AM
Already overlooking Illinois? Oh, that’s right, Zook is still there. Continue on.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:45 AM
Been waiting four years for this. Thank fucking christ he was too stupid to actually goto Notre Dame.
October 11th, 2010 at 10:46 AM
you know, otherwise they’d have to vacate all those meaningful games they won….
October 11th, 2010 at 10:47 AM
You forgot “irrelevant”.
October 11th, 2010 at 11:02 AM
what makes boise’s so tough? miami = VT and oregon state isn’t really that good (why do people keep saying they are? i really don’t understand this).
but whatever…OSU is runnin’ fools and, frankly, i couldn’t give a shit less.
October 11th, 2010 at 11:04 AM
Neither are very tough. That’s my point.
October 11th, 2010 at 11:08 AM
but your point needs expounding. what would make oregon or nebraska’s SOS’s better? i mean, that’s where this topic has to go.
