I can see the high horse thing. Especially the way he writes and some of the words he chooses. He can be a bit dennis miller’esque.
But overall, I think he is a very good writer and does a good job explaining his stance. I just wish people would lay off of him a bit. Every one of his post turns into a bashing session. People complain about lack of football posts, too many basketball and soccer posts, not enough hockey posts, not enough titty posts, too many dick posts etc etc etc. People have been complaining since the site’s inception. But nothing has changed. TBL is what it is and he is not that interested in changing it. Just don’t show up. But almost every thread turning into a nagging session can get a bit old.

given the amount of complaints and for how long people have been complaining, TBL would’ve spoke to duffy by now and told him to cool it a bit with michigan posts if he really cared about public opinion. Same with basketball and soccer posts. How long have people been complaining about those? yet he keeps churning them out. I don’t mind because soccer and basketball are my two most favorite sports, but if I were running the site and was inundated with complaints from you guys, I would think long and hard about the contents of my site. But whatever he is doing is obviously working, as evident by “low seven figure”.
Moral of the story is that people love to complain way too much about internet websites. I hate baseball, but I don’t ruin every baseball thread with comments about the game and how boring or uninteresting I think it is. Pick and choose what you want to read or comment on. That’s all.
