Gisele Seen (Almost) Kissing Someone Besides Tom Brady! Plus, a New/Old Tiger Mistress

Gisele was photographed *nearly* kissing somebody that isn’t Tom Brady. (*whispers* They’re married.) Gisele is in Paris for fashion week and a photographer got some shots of her acting very chummy with some unidentified dude at the masquerade party. You can check out the scandalous photos over at TMZ. My guess – this is just what you do when you’re drinking with Gisele. At least its what you should do. Who cares about Tom Brady?
In completely unrelated news, did we know that the dark-haired lady above was supposedly one of Tiger Woods’ mistresses? Her name is Cristina Del Basso and she was on Big Brother Italy. You can check out more of her “work” at Egotastic. Yeah, its NSFW, but remember, the internet exists for stuff like this. Take advantage of that NSFW-ness.
There will be plenty of college football posts tomorrow so you can all stop crying that you didn’t get a Big Boise Dame post today. Enjoy your nights and don’t forget to check out Mrs. LeBron Wade.

Update via SPORTSbyBROOKS: One of the dudes photographed with Gisele is Helly Nahmad, the heir to an art-dealing fortune. On second though, maybe Tommy Brady should be worried. He’s got money, but not Oh! Henry candy bar money.

His excuses were just so hollow. If you want to root for Vick, fine. If you like animals but you can seperate the off the field with the on-field, that is also fine. But dont try and feed me that rooting for Vick is cool now because we can all assume that he is rehabilitated and sorry for what he did, oh shut the fuck up. He joined up with the Humane Society, just because he’s such a great guy now, and not in order to further his own career?
Like I said, I can definitely understand just rooting for the athletes on the field and forgetting everything about their personal lives on Sunday. I think a lot of fans are able to do this. But dont spoon feed me this is the ‘feel good story of the year’, I mean for Christ’s sake, that is an awful way to put it.

October 1st, 2010 at 8:34 PM
I dislike Michael Vick because he wilfully mislead the finest employer I’ll ever have, and betrayed his trust while only thinking of himself. He epitomized the selfish athlete stereotpye. Maybe he’s changed, and I hope he has, but he was a scumbag for a long time. It takes a while to rebuild that social capital.
October 1st, 2010 at 8:34 PM
cj gets it. vick is a bad person.
October 1st, 2010 at 8:36 PM
I’ll agree with you on college hockey, but it depends on the crowd. As much as I rail on UND, their fans always light up Engelsted. Gopher fans at Maruicci…not so much.
October 1st, 2010 at 8:36 PM
Honestly, he’s a waste of a roster spot. I wasn’t happy when we picked him up, and he’s done nothing to make me not hate him all season. I’d rather some kid be there. Hell, I’d rather them pick some random fan out of the stands instead of him.
October 1st, 2010 at 8:37 PM
I used to read Simmons all the time. I actively searched ESPN.com for his articles. Now he mostly does a podcast that I have a hard time listening to while I’m online and when he does write, its nothing special. Sometimes it is a miss.

It takes a while to rebuild that social capital.
THIS. When Vick first arrived in Philly, I felt like he should’ve still been in jail and probably should’ve had the shit kicked out of him on the reg. But over the last year…something changed with me. Maybe it’s cause he’s now on my fantasy team and I have no scruples, but the whole “he did the time” argument kind of just sunk in. He’s not going to get any more jail time…I guess I just accepted that he’s out and is going to go back to work. And yeah, maybe the Humane Society thing is a ruse, and I’d like to know exactly what Vick-adelphia is actively doing to promote animal adoption and prevent abuse? Is he just cutting a check? I’d like to know what he is DOING and not just SAYING.

Ron Mexico was an alias Vick used at hotels etc. CRM is a “cousin”.
October 1st, 2010 at 8:55 PM
Vick DID do the time and HAS paid for his mistakes to an extent, but if the premise of your article is, “Just pretend your cynicism hasn’t been earned for a second,” you’ve lost me.
And what the hell is Progressive Insurance Lady Flo doing in this episode of House?
October 1st, 2010 at 8:55 PM
I thought Ron Mexico was Vick’s name he used when he got tested for STD’s?
October 1st, 2010 at 8:56 PM
Same thing she was doing in episodes on “Mad Men”?
October 1st, 2010 at 8:57 PM
Etc = STD clinics. He used this alias to get treatment for his Herpes, according to the girl that he then infected, even though he knew he had the Herp.

October 1st, 2010 at 8:59 PM
First season, one of the switchboard chickies.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:00 PM
Ron Mexico was the alias Vick used when he got tested for herpes, and it came back positive. He claimed that was his hotel alias to try to defuse the story. Again, I hope he’s not the same guy I knew, but up until this year, he was the greatest waste of talent in NFL history.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:01 PM
the whole “maybe he didnt know dog fighting is wrong!” excuse is fucking retarded. then why did he do it secretly…he wasnt handing out flyers and promoting it because HE KNEW IT WAS WRONG! to think otherwise is just stupid.

I don’t know why I’m playing contrarian to this shit (I’m bored), but is possible he could be thinking, “there’s nothing wrong with it (to me), but others SAY it’s wrong.”
And I’m kinda with you on this one, Mrejr.

the analogy was a response to why did he do it secretly if he didn’t think it was wrong. My response is that people smoke in secret even when they don’t believe it’s wrong because of the legal reasons. You do know that there are plenty of people who feel it isn’t wrong to smoke weed, don’t you?

October 1st, 2010 at 9:37 PM
Dude I’m not claiming anyone’s racist, but I would think the racial divide would be obvious. I do not personally know 1 black person who dislikes Michael Vick because of dog fighting. And I live in Michigan, there’s not a shortage of black people. However I know plenty of white people who do.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:37 PM
I wouldn’t give a shit about the whole Vick situation if I hadn’t been privy to the inner workings of the Falcons organization, and met so many people that put so much stock into that guy. From Arthur Blank, to Dan Reeves, to folks in the marketing department, and part time video crew members. They all believed in him, and he let everybody down in the worst possible way. I felt so bad for those people when the story broke. Aside from that, I wouldn’t care.

could be because vick is black. shit black folks were cheering OJ and he murdered two people.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:40 PM
well whats your excuse!
October 1st, 2010 at 9:41 PM
They all got paid off of him. If Reeves is the Christian he comes off as, then at this moment he should be happy that Vick has turned his life around. Some people just happen to love dogs more than people. See them everyday. It is what it is.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:41 PM
i was a put head 6th through 8the grade..quit my freshman year.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:42 PM
Yeah but that was a different time, just following the race riots and all that. I would like to think if something like that happened in this day and age black people wouldn’t react the same
/least I wouldn’t
//Ok, now I’m out
October 1st, 2010 at 9:42 PM

October 1st, 2010 at 9:43 PM
For the record, I agree with Darrell on weed.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:43 PM
My freshmen year roommate smokeed at least 3 or 4 times a day. I had to explain to him on how to use the “find and replace” function on word for about 20 min. He didn’t graduate.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:43 PM
I know more black people who thinks he has some level of guilt than not. (I know a few black people).
October 1st, 2010 at 9:44 PM
i would like to think the world is made of rainbows and lollipops but it isnt
October 1st, 2010 at 9:44 PM
Yeah I understood what Darrell was saying from the beginning. The whole doing it in secret because its illegal thing was obvious. I started laughing when there was outrage over that.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:45 PM
Mantis- there’s another two that are next to me that are really nice. I shouldn’t group them all together. In fact, one of them spilled a little beer on me in the first period and after the intermission he came back with an extra beer for me. Totally unnecessary for a minor beer spill, but a cool gesture.
Hockey fans are good people for the most part.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:45 PM
FYI – I was kidding about the ban-hammer. Not sure why the comment got snagged.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:45 PM

Im not saying the dude shouldnt be playing in the nfl, i just dont need to root for him. i dont see it as the great redeption that some do
October 1st, 2010 at 9:47 PM
Several seasons > 3 games but I would be a pissed off Falcons fan if this guy is putting the time in the film room and its paying off on the field.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:47 PM
This. The Falcons would have been destroyed if they didn’t put Vick on a pedastal. He was THE franchise according to the fans, so the organization was smart and did so.

October 1st, 2010 at 9:51 PM
okay what the fuck is this put shit? google doesnt even know what it is
October 1st, 2010 at 9:51 PM
Darrell if I had to guess, Reeves is probably rooting for Vick to succeed. Jim Mora certainly is. Arthur Blank is as well. I make no assumptions for others. When I think about Arthur’s son, and the relationship he had with Vick, it makes me sad that he had this whole secret life, and the duplicity that it took to carry it out. Michael was never anything but good to me, and I hope he does well, but I can’t root for him.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:52 PM
Matty Ice has it easy. He got to come in under the “he’s not Vick” umbrella with the organization from ownership on down. Evenutally, he’ll have to show he is more than a good support QB for a strong running game.
October 1st, 2010 at 9:52 PM

Well, to be honest the plan was a Cabelas run and lunch with the boys. Wifey looking forward to it. More than I thought. Instead of going to the game with the Elder Son, I will have to shop the gun library.
October 1st, 2010 at 10:12 PM
I’m gonna guess telling the wife to buy whatever she wants wouldn’t end well. Jus be very obvious about sharing game updates with your son, hawkeye. Ans make sure he knows he didn’t get to go

THIS. Then again, one of my good friends likes Brett Ratner because he (Ratner) went to film school and is thus far more qualified to direct a movie than other people. My buddy went to film school and thus has a hard on for people who did the same.
And what does my buddy do with this several hundred thousand dollar education? He teaches. Art classes. (shakes head.)

I cannot handle John Scott playing defenseman to start the season.

LawyerCopDoctor isnt just limited to those three things.. he is really a jack of all trades
October 1st, 2010 at 10:48 PM
I guess your friend did not listen during class because I studied film as well and most of the best directors never went to film school- Wells, Goddard- so therefor whether you studied it or not does not make a difference in how good a director you are. It’s like writing or painting, either you can do it or not. Most of the people I went to school with just spent most of the time talking and doing nothing.
We are now in one of the worst periods ever for film and guess what, there are more film school graduates directing than ever before.
October 1st, 2010 at 10:49 PM

I remember before Eric Lindros was drafted, Fleer I think it was, issued an “future superstar” card that was worth $10 out of the pack, so I bought boxes of cards just to get as many of this card as possible. Probably had like 8 or 9, thought I was going to make a lot of money off them one day and now they are worth like only a dollar or so.

I cannot handle John Scott playing defenseman to start the season.
I would feel more pity for you if 4 – 7 for the Oilers wasn’t likely to be Strudwick, Vandermeer and Peckham/Petiot/Belle.

As a non-smoker I lover the rules up here. Basically no smoking in any buildings (bars/restaurants included) and smokers are not allowed to be within 15 metres of the entrance. Poor fuckers suffer when it gets real cold.
October 1st, 2010 at 10:55 PM
Well don’t they all want to work in Polanski’s movies still? Thats why actors took so long to come out against what Woody Allen did.

So…Has anybody talked yet on the possibility the Rays/Yankees tie at season’s end and have to play 163? Yankees are playing like shit regardless, but I’d be happy to see an extra game and no rest like the Twins did last year.
October 1st, 2010 at 10:56 PM
I guess your friend did not listen during class because I studied film as well and most of the best directors never went to film school- Wells, Goddard- so therefor whether you studied it or not does not make a difference in how good a director you are. It’s like writing or painting, either you can do it or not. Most of the people I went to school with just spent most of the time talking and doing nothing.
We are now in one of the worst periods ever for film and guess what, there are more film school graduates directing than ever before.
Yeah, he thinks most things by guys who didn’t go to film school (Welles, Hitchcock, Ford, Kurosawa, etc) are boring.

If you invite someone from the site to the set of your movie or give them an interview, then they will always give you a good review and talk up your project. I used to read Dark Horizons years ago as well, is that guy still around?
Box Office Mojo is great. It’s all just movie statistics and numbers which I love. They overemphasize inflation though, like they adjusted Avatar’s box office while it was still playing, which is crazy, but I love it.

Not really, its mostly directors who have been supporting him. There is not really much cache value in being in one of his movies now. But being in a Woody Allen movie is still a big deal for an actor.
Tell your friend he needs to go back to school if he thinks Ratner is a more qualified or better director than any of them. George Lucas went to film school, how were the prequels (though episode 3 was really good). Lucas talked about doing the prequels to finally show everyone why Anakin turned to the dark side, but he himself had no idea going into production. He was literally still trying to figure it out after they already shot the movie!

Exactly. The dollar bills in your pockets are votes. If you want a smoke filled bar, vote with your dollars by going to one. If you want smokeless, vote for a smokeless bar by spending your money there. This isn’t rocket science, people.
October 1st, 2010 at 11:32 PM
Was being a jackass. It’s a very convoluted system and depends on the province you live in.
Gotcha. The taxes for alcohol and cigarettes are assessed by individual states (mostly), so I would think that each state uses the revenue however they want.
October 1st, 2010 at 11:32 PM
I have had asthma all my life and cigarettes have never given me an attack. In fact, I cant explain it, but sometime when I am around it and already having trouble breathing it helps a bit. Like I have a hard time breathing in the country where the air is clean, but as soon as I get to the polluted air of NYC it all clears up. But everyone reacts to asthma differently and has different triggers.
The best thing is that my in wife’s sisters all smoke, so if I dont want to be around them or her family and want to leave early I just start complaining that I cant breathe from the smoke and no one ever questions when I walk out the door so I can get home and go on the internet.

And Empire was the best because thats the one he did the least writing on.
Know what you mean, but kind of see why he did it though.
The most annoying thing is that he always claims that everything thats in the movies was all come up with when he first started writing the original one, when clearly that is not true. Someone even wrote a book that goes over the development of the movies and how the scripts were really written versus what Lucas claims.

There are some states like that here. Maryland I believe has state run liqour stores. In other states, the beer you get at gas stations or grocery stores is limited in ABV, usually to something weak like 3.5%.

This scotch is really easy to drink. I foresee a possible hangover before I hit the road tomorrow.
October 1st, 2010 at 11:41 PM
This is the internet, people…
It means if the group is a mix of smokers and non-smokers… basically I’m asking if you’re going to make the smokers go to a smoking bar and the non-smokers to a non-smoking bar. I’m using
TBL mobilemy phone and I felt like typing something short and to the point. Now my fingers hurt. Go ahead, make a Happy Gilmore joke.

Fuck, this is one thing I am jealous of.
October 1st, 2010 at 11:42 PM
then why didnt he just say that?
Because Magic was a point guard.
Prequels would’ve been a lot better had they skipped all that shit about Anakin’s youth…or at the very least made him a 12 or 13 year old. That way they could’ve hired a 16 or 17 year old to play him throughout the whole trio of films.
Lotsa stuff had to happen to make that movie good. You should really watch that review. It’s fucking hilarious.

Yoda did train Obi Wan. It’s just that Yoda trains them when they are young, then after he is done with them they go off for an apprenticeship with someone else. It’s like being a doctor, you get your degree in school, then you have to intern at a hospital before you get your medical license.

The fact that you want the government to decide for everyone is mind bottling to me.
October 1st, 2010 at 11:43 PM
that is up to the group to compromise not the state to decide for them.
October 1st, 2010 at 11:44 PM
Which bar has fewer fat chicks?
Fuck that. Which bar has more chicks smoking. Chick smokers are usually DTF and ready to party. And usually skinny. I love making out with chicks whose mouth tastes like beer and cigarette smoke. Then you know it’s gonna be a good night.

No need to worry, the Oil can’t afford to have other teams go after Hall/Eberle/Paajarvi. It’s just nice to have a little protection for them – team toughness has been an issue here the last couple years.

Indy 4′s problem was that at one point Spielberg got a script that he really loved and was ready to start shooting. I remember doing a story on him while promoting Minority Report where he said he was ready to start shooting it in a few months. But Lucas did not OK the script and made everyone start over again from scratch. At that point Spielberg had become so sick of waiting for so long for a script that everyone would agree on that he just agreed to shoot whatever the hell Lucas wanted him to. At Lucas himself pretty much backed up the story.

Yes. I would say it is his best movie and one of my top 10 movies ever. Throne Of Blood is good too or course, the wife is so scary. I have not seen it in such a long time, but I think I remember everytime she walked she make this creapy sounding noise. Unless I am confusing it with Rashoman? But then I have such a bizarre top 10 list when it comes to movies.
You have to remember than when he made Ran his career was considered to be washed up and his best years well behind him, so the king character is also supposed to represent him as well. It’s literally him putting himself in the movie. His previous movie, what was it Kagimousha or something. he could not get funding for it despite who he was and only got it made because Lucas and Spielberg jumped in and helped him get the money for it.

it’s worth it. i’d say prices are consistent with NYC drink prices. you can buy their leather bound menu for $200.
they have great sommeliers there. i told the guy i wanted to try a new scotch, he asked what i liked, cracked open a brand new bottle turned out to be talisker reserve which is discontinued and poured a hefty sample.
great place for a date, great atmosphere.
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:09 AM
Kagemusha’s pretty awesome. I thought Ran was kind of the same movie but I haven’t watched either in a while. I loved his last movie, Madadayo. Fuck it, Kurosawa = win for pretty much everything he ever made. My favorite movie of all time is probably Eureka so I can probably find some common ground in a weird top 10 list
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:10 AM
Geeze – I ran competitively for long enough to know that you have to trick your body into doing things it doesn’t want to do. That’s why we ran so many miles in the summer, and why we ran hellatious hill workouts, and ridiculous 800 repeats. It was all an effort to trick our bodies into optimum performance on race day. Smoking a cigarette furthers that, as your lungs strive for oxygen, and the blood vessels expand to compensate. Once you begin to run, you benefit from increased oxygen intake, and you delay anaerobic activity.
/was good at biology

No, I am right.
He was his instructor, like a teacher in a classroom. A teacher is also called an instructor sometimes, right? But then after you go to school and learn in class everything, you still go out and get an internship somewhere before you get a real job in order to gain real world experience. And that is what happened with Obi Wan.
yoda = original classroom teacher
qui gon = post school internship for credit

I really like Italian Neo-Realism. Bicycle Thief gets all the credit, but Umberto D is also up there. The scene at the end when he tries to kill the dog is so emotional.
I really hated Ozu when I was in school, so fucking boring, the only time I ever fell asleep in class was during Tokyo Story. But how that I go and do my own editing for different things and clients I am really big on the whole mono no aware style, which he what he is best known for doing. But I still hate his work though.
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:18 AM
good idea, Stark. it’s a cool place. small, in tribeca. i’d recommend going to Landmarc for the hangar steak then taking the walk to Brandy Library afterwards.
Also, i’d spring for a double of “the last drop” a $475 glass of scotch.
i can’t afford it, but i’m hoping you can so you could tell me how glorious it is. i can live vicariously through other scotch drinkers.
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:19 AM
Yeah, Hal’s sight is solid. Most remotely credible, basic half-marathon training schedules will be pretty similar. I know a few people came into the shop that used it and they fared well.
My training bible is ‘Jack Daniels’ Running Formula’ (different Jack Daniels). That thing is the best.

I considered for a moment a $400 bottle of Port Ellen single malt. Hasn’t been bottled since 1984, then the distillery closed. Even when it was open, almost all of its distillate went to blending.
I simply could not justify $400 for one bottle of scotch though. But I’d do almost anything for a bottle of Port Ellen.
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:23 AM
I’ve never run any kind of race before so my only goal for the half marathon is to not die. Oh, and finishing in less than 2:15 would be a nice bonus.
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:25 AM
Gotcha, haha. Well, just get in the miles, you’ll be fine. Just don’t get excited and go out to fast at the start. Happens ALL THE TIME.
Oh, this is a biggie, get your best sleep two nights before the race. That’s the night that’s most important for the race.
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:25 AM
if brandy library’s physical menu is the same, they might still have a list of defunct distilleries they have bottles from. nothing affordable, but at least you can say you saw it on the wall and found ways to rationalize a $600+ bottle of scotch.
their display of the louis the XIV ( or something) brandy, nearly a grand a bottle i think, is in it’s very own glass and mirror display case behind the bar.
October 2nd, 2010 at 12:30 AM
Groin the benefit is short lived. If you were running the 800, there would be a benefit of consequence. For a marathon, it’s not worth it, given the fact that the majority of your race will be run anaerobically. There’s so much that goes into achieving optimal athletic performance. If you’re running a marathon, or even a half, don’t bother with the traditional carbo load. Make sure you have some fatty lipids in your system, as they burn much slower, and are what you get your energy from going forward from about minute 8 on.

I just like to push my face up against the glass and stare at the bottles in the locked case knowing that I won’t buying one anytime soon. What depresses me about Port Ellen in particular is that the price won’t be going down anytime soon. The value only goes up with each passing year and each drunk bottle.

Don’t get me wrong, wilhelm, theres a difference. The difference wasn’t worth the difference in price, IMO. Blue is nice and smooth, but it’s still a blend. It will always be secondary in my mind.

Lefty, I can respect individual opinions on how scotch is judged, but blends and single malts really are not comparable.
