It should not take a few years to rebuild enough to not be one of the 5 worst teams in the league. Especially in the nba where you only have 12 roster spots.

The NHL followed the NBA and went to a lottery system. NJ’s pick in that draft turned out to be pretty good (not Mario good). Funny that people forget the scene Mario made at the draft by refusing to put on the Pens cap/jersey.
