Dayne Crist’s 95-yard TD pass to Kyle Rudolph & LaMichael James’ 72-Yard TD Run Were Goosebump-Inducing on Monster Saturday
We’ll get to plenty of college football tomorrow, but these two memorable plays from Saturday demand your attention right now. First: Dayne Crist’s 95-yard TD strike to Kyle Rudolph with less than four minutes to go in Notre Dame-Michigan. Touchdown Jesus briefly wept tears of joy, but Denard Robinson quickly put an end to that.
LaMichael James looked like the kind of guy who runs a 4.38 40 in rattling off this 72-yard TD run against Tennessee in a 48-13 dismemberment of the Vols (who led 13-3). Oregon has scored 120 points in 120 minutes of football this season.

That Rudolph pass and catch was awesome. Everything about that play was perfect except it was Notre Dame.

Hats off to Tennessee for embarrassing the SEC. As for the Rudolph play, I would have loved to be in ND Stadium for that. Both teams are overrated, but that was a MOMENT.

Yesterday’s games were fantastic! Alabama looks lethal, leave it up to VT tor ruin Boise’s win by getting knocked off by James Madison.
I watched Hard Knocks last night, and all I was thinking after was: I can’t wait to see Baltimore whoop that ass on Monday.

The Rudolph TD was a good “moment”…but that safety should have had his scholarship stripped before Kyle got to the end zone. Awful play.

Think it was in yesterday’s thread – safety play on that TD was perhaps the worst safety play in the history of football.

Seriously? That Rudolph play wasn’t even the most impressive play of the game. Notre Dame can go choke.
