Wayne Rooney, the hard-partying England soccer star, is in trouble with his wife, WAG Coleen McLoughlin. According to the tabloids, Rooney banged a hooker while McLoughlin was pregnant last year. The story’s getting pickup in credible outlets, but probably only because England and Switzlerland have a Euro 2012 qualifier Tuesday. How many of these tawdry stories can Rooney’s marriage survive?
