So Does Tiger Woods Have a New NYC Lair or Not?
1-liner, All, Athletes are targets, Tiger Woods Affair September 1st. 2010, 2:45pm
Tiger Woods: Us Weekly reported that he moved into a new bachelor pad in NYC over the weekend. CNBC’s Darren Rovell said it wasn’t true. Today, the New York Daily News writes that Tiger moved boxes into his pussy palace on Hudson street over the weekend. Somebody has to know something. The golf season is basically over, so Tiger will be on the prowl in NYC (and probably Vegas, too) for the next six months. You know where to find us.

I dunno…it’s my understanding that Tiger intends to play in plenty of overseas cash-grab events in November and December.

Tiger should have moved to San Fernando Valley.

No idea if that’s his name or not…Farmer did his best John Sterling impression after the game though saying “Chris just hung up the ‘No Sale’ sign to Choo”, embarrassing

Cocktail time has arrived:
Laphroaig, Macallan, Bluecoat or Blaton’s?
Such decisions…
Life is hard.

Laphroaig, Macallan, Bluecoat or Blaton’s?
Not familiar with Bluecoat. What year on the Laphroaig? I find the 10 year too iodine tasting if you add water to it. Macallan is almost always a great bet.
September 1st, 2010 at 3:08 PM
Bluecoat is my favorite gin. The Laphroaig is just the standard 10 yr. I went with Macallan cause there was only one glass left anyway, and it’s easiest to mask if I have to go talk to my boss or clients…

Wish I could afford it more often. I used to hate Dewar’s but they have a 12 year special reserve that’s much better than the white label. It’s my well scotch at home now. It’s a weekday drink for me. My bottle of Macallan only comes out for special occasions. I have a bottle of 18 that I’ve had for 2 years. Think I’ve drank from it four times.

I’ll have to check out the Dewar’s 12 yr Special Reserve. Maybe that will replace my dead bottle of Macallan.
That Macallan 18 is good stuff, right? What I’m drinking here is just the 12 yr.

My well scotch of choice right now, as many on here know because I’ve said it a lot, is Black and White. Relatively inexpensive for a handle ($40ish) and nice over the rocks or neat. Slight smokiness, but some slightly sweetness to it as well (think Glenlivet style sweetness).
I’ve had a bottle of Laphroaig 15 and Caol Ila 12 that I have about a drink’s worth left in. Those are for special occasions.

@WhiskeyRebellion: if you want to try something interesting, go for Yamizaki 12 year Single Malt. Great Japanese Whisky.

My Johnnie Blue has been poured twice in the 4 years I’ve had it.
At home, my well scotch of choice is usually Laphroaig, cause I love peat moss. Caol Ila has that little smokiness too…a lot more temperate than the Laphroaig.

I picked up a 15yo Glenfiddich on sale for $41. I’ve been alternating between that, and JD Single Barrel.
I did have my first Oban 14yo while out to eat. Glorious.
September 1st, 2010 at 3:20 PM
I had some Japanese whisky at this high-class whisky bar in Stockholm, of all places. Totally forget the name. It was very good, though.
September 1st, 2010 at 3:21 PM
If I’m not drinking Laphroaig, I’m drinking Oban. It is probably my favorite standard drinking scotch…

Tiger is single now. Does that mean he is no longer an out of control sex addict?
