When is it Officially OK to Begin Worrying about the Darrelle Revis Holdout?
The best cornerback in football, Darrelle Revis of the Jets, will not be present at training camp this week. He’s holding out. He wants Nnamdi Asomugha money (Oakland overpaid), but Revis also seems emotionally hurt that playing for $1 million next year is demeaning (note: he’s guaranteed $20 million over the next two years). We’re trying not to get too bent about this holdout because the Jets realize a deal must get done – their entire defensive strategy would be dramatically altered if Revis were not on the field beginning in week one.
