Takeru Kobayashi was arrested after the hot dog eating contest this afternoon. Police grabbed Kobayashi as he tried to climb on stage after Joey Chestnut wrapped up his fourth straight title. The former 6-time champion, “tried to hold onto police barricades as they took him into custody.”  Kobayashi didn’t participate because of some dispute with Major League Eating. (Washington Post)
