Kendry Morales of the Angels hit a walk-off grand slam to beat the Marines yesterday, and as he jumped to touch home plate, Morales landed awkwardly and shattered his leg. He’ll have surgery today. His season is likely over. He joins Gus Frerotte and Bill Gramatica – among others – in an embarrassing group of athletes who were injured while celebrating.
