Peterson rushed for 122 yards and three scores, but all anyone will remember are his fumble woes. We’d pin the loss more on Favre’s late, terrible interception, and the horrible coaching of Brad Childress. Stats (!): In a four-year span, Tiki Barber fumbled 35 times. In a three-year span to start his career, Walter Payton fumbled 30 times. Peterson has only fumbled 20 times in the first three years of his career.
